Oklahoma Open Primary SQ 836 Fails

This was to get enough signatures to get on ballot to vote/decide if we would have open primaries. It failed to get enough signatures, thank you fellow Okies, for not signing this seat stealing trick other states have fallen for.

I voted "No" on this measure. And I'm a conservative independent that's locked out of voting in Republican primaries.

The Dims let me vote in their primary though, so I have fun with it.

How did you vote no? This was not on any ballots.

The radical leftists created a legal petition. In OK you must get X percentage of registered voters to sign the petition. Once you get them its turned over to state and they then have a team go and verify each signature.

If it passes that scrutiny they notify the board and its scheduled to be placed on the ballot to be voted on by voters.

It failed to get enough signatures so it was never voted on.

Had it got enough it would have most likely failed but its DOA because the petition is granted X days to get all those signatures and they failed.
