Do you really not think Trump and right wing grifters wouldn't be shouting from the rooftops if the DOJ came with charges related to a coordinated hoax?
Things that could be charged for a hoax would be charges such as falsified police report, obstruction of justice, public intimidation, conspiracy (two parties agreeing to commit a crime, which since you believe this is a hoax would have to include the Rep.)

Also, if you are Omar, and you are orchestrating a hoax, you’d come up with something a lot better than a guy with a syringe shooting apple cider vinegar.
The explanation for all of this could be a lot of things, but Occam’s Razor points steadily at the guy with the syringe being a nutcase who acted alone.
