If this passes, how likely is it that Democratic states just do what they want and not require voter ID? Just like ignoring immigration law and setting up sanctuary cities?

Good on Rand, he fights the good fight but doesn’t roll over for the Dims either.

Should be easy to bribe Murkowski, the Alaska federal delegation loves when Fedgov gives them more pork
ETA: HOWEVER, this would pose huge issues for rural Alaskans (particularly natives who live in the villages) from voting...so maybe not. Those folks cant afford nor care about a passport. Many of them just have tribal IDs issued by Bureau of Indian affairs (i.e. not even a DL)

Removing the potential financial gains for some of those “hard working folks” in Washington, what’s the rationale for opposition? Makes no sense. More scrutiny buying cold medicine than voting. It makes no sense.

#50 won't be Murkowski. That's for sure.
I guess Fetterman has been counted?

Murkowski might be the best shot and i'm sure she's a hard no.

Where is John Fetterman on this issue? I have not heard him saying anything about where he stands. Any chance he comes over or is he on board now?

That's better ID than most. It won't be a problem for them.
Murkowski is listening to money just like the other three whores. fricking traitors.

Feds can deny all votes i would hope. Your state doesnt follow federal laws and we will not count that states votes.

He keeps this up and the Dems will throw him out of the party.

Exactly. If states don't follow federal law, even after USSC review and approval, those nonconforming states will not be allowed to cast their EC delegates.
I wonder what happens to their Representatives and Senators elected while not enforcing Save Act law?
