Is this the core mentality of all of the shootings that take place across the country, especially in places like Chicago? Is this why nothing is generally done by the "black community" in order to curtail it? The "community" feels that the murderers are victims themselves? That their lives were so oppressed that they were led to these acts?
It is such a "I've given up hope" thought process to do this. The "community" doesn't need to simply offer excuses and sympathy to the killers because of their environs, the "community" needs extend sympathy to the environs and improve the neighborhoods first.
