I really don't see how much wiggle room Trump has in polling. I think his hard cap is in the low 40s - most all Republicans and right-leaning independents are already on board.
His personal disposition is so divisive that I think a lot of people would rate his approval as negative even if they (centrists, libertarians, blue dog Dems) end up voting for his policies next November.
