Again, I didn't call it a study. It is a poll.
OP did.

There's a large issue with the amount of people who think or actually do have mental problems in this country. This didn't used to be the case. Social media certainly adds to it, but the high percentages are disturbing.

Does this mean there's a correlation between progressive ideas and mental health?

Counterpoint to the mind hive here: People who identify as conservative are less likely to seek out mental health professionals and be diagnosed.
Look at you spittin' the facts over here. I am sure you have link for your comparison that even if the lie that you just insinuated was true... it's an apple and oranges comparison.

Some people will just read your OP and move on with this information, which is fine, but the article itself is excellent.

I have several mental illnesses but I was taught right and wrong, to trust logic over feelings and what reality IS vs what we'd all like it to be. So I am a conservative, because logic tells me that is the right way.
Liberals have the huge issue of "ends justify the means" problems because their ideals and end goals are more important than how we get there. Consequences be damned. This has lead to opportunistic, power-hungry politicians using that idealism against liberals, while convincing them that they are together. I don't understand how today's democrats don't see it, as their overlords are not that good at hiding their true motivations. Idealism has a way of blinding you to the truth.

but how many of those have blue dyed hair?

Yep, and over decades I watched it happen The destruction of the institution of motherhood and the traditional family. The democrat liberal feminist convinced women they were oppressed and the victim of a male dominated world. Instead of celebrating the honored institution of motherhood, hollywood and the feminist demonized it. With devestating results. We see the faces of screwed up young people from broken homes laid out in rows on police arrest sheets.
America is now beyond hope of recovery.

I have severe mental health issues and I’m conservative.

My wife has two super lib friends. Outside of their political views, one is totally normal and the other is bat shite insane. So your 50% holds up there.
From my experience the 50% ratio does not apply to the crazy\hot scale.
I would say 95% of liberals are ugly as shite. Could the fact that they were born so unattractive be what caused the mental illness?
I may be onto something here...
(And the 5% of liberals who are on the hot portion of the scale are celebrities so they dont really count anyway.)

The "climate change" debate over whether it exists or is a conspiracy is the low hanging fruit of the issue.
Instead, there is a ton to impeach the credibility of anyone who is a part of the apocalyptic weather-worshipping cult (which is itself a mere front for an attempt to gain total control over every aspect of society). Think of it this way:
1: The proposition/hypothesis is put forth that climate change is a grave danger to humanity and that the only way to alleviate the danger is to give what are essentially unlimited and far-reaching powers to the proponents of the proposition. The powers demanded would infringe on the agency/autonomy of all.
2: The folks that are suspicious of the claim demand proof and the opportunity to do their own investigation or verification before supporting such extreme measures.
3-Rather than welcoming robust scientific debate, the doubters are told by the proponents that "the science is settled" and "almost every climate scientist agrees," and "there is no time for debate, this is an emergency, give me what I want."
4-The response makes a mockery of science, in which robust debate is always welcome, and every hypothesis is subject to rigorous testing by anyone who wants to. Also, the climate scientists are the intellectual progeny of the folks who predicted famine in the 60's, an ice-age in the 70's, acid rain, and global warming. All of which did not come true.
5-The adamant proponents of climate change and the sought-after emergency measures seem rather blase about it. They are jet-setters who are constantly traveling, who fly in people from across the globe for "conferences" on how to alleviate climate-change, and who own expensive plots of real property in places that climate change projectionists predict will be under water. Their actions do not reinforce their claims. As such, their credibility is highly dubious.
6-Additionally, if climate change was as grave a threat to humanity as is claimed, then every single nation-state would be on board with combatting it. Instead, it appears that the US, Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand must self impose restrictions that Africa, South America, India, the middle east, and China have no interest in adopting. Doesn't this appear strange to you that billions of people reject the severity of climate change?
7-The ultimate ramifications of the powers sought is for government control and rationing of carbon. They will decide what you can eat, if you can travel, whether your business is allowed to operate, where you can live, and what sort of possessions you can own.
8-Its one thing to point out what you find "ironic." But if you are a proponent or adherent of the apocalyptic weather-worshipping cult, what bad thing happened in your life that warped your brain into believing such nonsense? Will you abjure the line of thinking that led to you believe this?

The correct figure is 100%. Liberalism is a mental illness.

The questions pertaining to mental health conditions, political affiliation, and race weren’t originally asked in the Pew American Trends poll queried in March, but PhD student Zach Goldberg ascertained the data and categorized it by political affiliation.
