Would this void the billions of pages of regulations enacted by federal agencies over the past decades?
This is what I want to know. Does it auto void everything not passed by Congress or would it have to then be challenged in court to be tossed out?

Technically, Things would have to be challenged. But if the SCOTUS gives them a directive in this case, it will be fairly easy to challenge those cases.
Technically, some whore in Mississippi could sue for an abortion in federal court today, but it would be shot down quickly, citing Dobbs.

I've said for years that presidential elections should not be nearly as momentous or meaningful as they have been. It honestly shouldn't matter that much. But the executive branch has become almost all-powerful, which makes every 4th January a de facto transition of dictatorial powers.
If SCOTUS does what I hope here, it would be enormous.

happened in Louisiana... abortion clinic sued... trying to slow the implementation of Louisiana's trigger law
and it worked... a TRO was granted until a hearing can be held on 7/8

Truth. It's matter between the citizens of a given state, their elected officials and the judicial system of that state.

I think it will be 6-3 for West Virginia, but the court will not overturn Chevron.
If the court overturns Chevron, it should be a federal holiday. That 1984 case has done a lot to harm America. It has literally been used to defend government overreach for decades. Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina and Wisconsin have basically overturned Chevron within its state agencies. It was a bad decision.
Gorsuch's mother was head of the EPA in 1984 when Chevron came down. He is still against it. Love that man.
any way you can provide more info for dumbas*** like myself?

We need SCOTUS to get the fed back to doing what the Constitution says they can do and stop the overreach.

Wasn't the EPA itself started by an Executive Order? Couldn't that agency be challenged and dismantled based on WV vs EPA??

assume this would include the ATF’s ability to arbitrarily say what’s legal and what’s not ?
And the FDA, USDA, etc etc

Old lawyer saying…
If the law is on your side but not the facts, pound the law.
If the facts are in your side but not the law, pound the facts.
If neither the laws nor the facts are on your side, pound the table.
They are desperately trying to cling to the current state of things through every method possible. Sounds like the court is about to cut the legs out from under them.

The democrats are just stoking the flames with the way they speak. They keep lying and gaslighting their own base and telling them anything less than full-on acceptance of extreme radical progressivism is an affront to their humanity. It only leads to riots and violence.

Which they think they want.
Chasing competent people out of the military to replace them with PC flunkies likely isn’t going to pay off under such circumstances.

Between the EPA and opening up to China, Nixon looks worse in hindsight.
