There's a reason why the list of "the ones that have done things or turned a certain way that pissed a lot of people off" is so long. It's because Trump doesn't know how to identify qualified, capable people.
But that's not my main point here. The main point is to watch how Trump's fans will go from supporting his every appointment to trashing the very people they were just supporting when those people get shitcanned - and then making the excuses for Trump.
I am just here waiting for the excuses when Hegseth gets shitcanned.

That's probably part of it, at least to an extent. And there are several factors that go into why he picked certain people his first term and why they didn't last.
But also he isn't scared to fire someone who is either underperforming or not meeting his intent. To me that is a positive thing, not a negative. Biden's presidency was a disaster. Did he fire anyone? Maybe he did, and it just wasn't reported on (which also wouldn't be a surprise).
At the least Austin and Milley should have been fired. Both press secretaries were fricking awful. Blinken was awful. They all kept their jobs. Is that a positive thing?
