Surely you are not surprised by that admission.

Populism is an election strategy. Promise the world to the little guy.
"Every man a king"
"A chicken in every pot"
Most populist movements are led by Demogogues.
Its kind of sad you have to define simple terms because certain people reached adulthood without ever hearing them.

Thanks for voting for Trump

And people who obediently follow their principles are easily manipulated. Just look at left. They went from "gays should be treated like everyone" to "let this tranny molest your kid." Why? Because their ideology kept telling them it was the principled thing to do.
How do cult leaders get followers? They use their principles against them. You believe in following God's word? Well, God says I'm here to protect the righteous in the coming apocalypse, so be principled and follow God's word. Oh, by the way, He says I get to sleep with your wife, too.
My principles are to make America Great and not blindly follow an ideology when doing so results in a worse outcome. In other words, logic and common sense.
What you really mean is that the "populists" don't follow your principles.

So you’re spending your time creating alts and crying on a political board about politics. Makes sense.

He’s attempting (for better or worse) to do something new with government. I think everyone should recognize that. But to continue down the path that we have been on was suicidal. The majority of voters recognized it and voted accordingly.

Using that definition Trump is the OPPOSITE of populism.
You retards have been trying to literally fricking kill him for 9 years because of how "unpopular" his policies are, allegedly.

Also Trump is a double whammy cuz he’s not even doing what he thinks is popular for the country which is bad enough in a country of 400 million that can’t agree on anything. He’s doing only what benefits him personally

There aren’t 400 million people in this country but there are easily 400 alters and bots on this board

I think I heard it as far back as George Wallace, Patrick Buchanan and Ross Perot.

All you need to know is that the Dems hate it when it’s not in their favor, but love it when it is. See Bill Clinton.
