How would you or I know if he has repented; and, a step further, how is it our place to judge?

Sin is sin and sets us apart from God no matter where on the hierarchy scale that "man" places it.

So, using your reasoning, you can't become a Christian because you have sinned....and you are destined for hell?

People really need to stop associating Trump with Christianity.

Why?

Again, you compared him to David. I have no reason to believe that's a good comparison and neither do you, I suspect.

I don't know if he's repented - I see no outward evidence of Christian humility in Trump, which isn't conclusive, but I'm also not claiming he's a Christian here.

It's certainly not our place to judge in the sense of believing we're superior - we're all sinners of whom I am the worst. But I think it's completely reasonable and appropriate for Christians to examine the actions and words of their leaders in considering whether their leaders appear to be following Christ.

Blonde woman touching Trump's shoulder is his faith advisor, Paula White. Prosperity gospel preaching "pastor" that's had quite a colorful history (affairs, multiple divorces, being under investigation for tax fraud and money laundering - the normal things you'd expect from a prosperity gospel preacher). She works very closely with the Unification Church (the Korean cult started by Sun Myuk Moon) and is helping them get established in Asia and North America. Her beliefs tend to lean more toward the Law of Attraction, hence the prosperity gospel. She also randomly starts speaking in tongues during her sermons.

She's like a real life character out of The Righteous Gemstones.
All of this, and she's Trump's personal faith advisor.

No wonder I don’t know her. I tend to listen to more mainstream Protestant speakers.

Yeah, she's a prosperity gospel name-it-and-claim it proponent. Literally a false gospel. Quite puzzling as to why Trump would choose her to be his spiritual advisor. Plenty of other rock solid folks to choose from... David Jeremiah, Jack Graham, Tony Evans, Franklin Graham, Voddie Bachuam....

Name me one mainstream media piece that has said this…totally the opposite, but I’ll hang up and wait for your response.

Because that is consistent with his personal philosophy?

He's playing his merry band of populists.

I'm a conservative Christian in a conservative area that went overwhelmingly red and always does; I don't know anybody who talks about Trump's faith any more than they talk about his golf game or his hair. It's just not a consideration.

No No No he’s a lot of things but a Christian he is not. It’s ok to be honest with yourself.

Well, he doesn't remind me of the Godly men that I know. The Godly men whose hearts are changing to become more like Christ through the work of the Holy Spirit.
