I imagine you're creating that "kernel of truth" bait and switch here. There is banking in London, sure
London and the UK hasn't been the center of banking for a long time. The UK hasn't even been a major power for 70-ish years, at this point. That's why focusing on them is insane.
Their thesis is that London banking has controlled the US over those 70 years and we're just now breaking free, which is insane. NYC banking GDP alone is larger than the entire UK financial service GDP, per number i just looked up. And while that's ouar #1 city, it's just one city (in America).
