Putin sees Ukraine as a part of Russia, always was until recently, (in the last 100 or so years) and since the Globalist wanted to infiltrate, put in bio labs and try to make Ukraine a part of NATO (they admit this) after saying Ukraine would be a buffer between the E.U./NATO and Russia, Putin decided to attack when he thought a weak Obama was leaving and a weaker Hillary was coming in, hell he might have offered Hillary and Bill big bucks to look the other way, if she won, but she lost, so he kind of cooled it when Trump came in, thinking he's supposed to be crazy. So, he waited to make his next move when Biden got in .

Now Trump has shown his hand, he really wants nothing to do with a nation and peoples who threw him under the bus while he got impeached. Putin has read this properly as Trump has washed his hands with Ukraine, so I am, going to finish taking our land back are his thoughts now.

NEWSFLASH, this has been what has happened for 1000's of years, people go to war, borders change, The KEY is knowing who, what and where to conquer at the perfect time. Putin took much of Ukraine, mainly because the West lied and started trying to Arm Ukraine. If China or Russia started trying to Arm Mexico or Canada with Nukes, Bio Labs and troops, they would soon be US Territories if Mexico or Canada fell in with them.

The mistake came when Hillary was the Sec. of State. She thought she could push a globalist agenda and Putin showed her he was no weakling.

Putin: Russia will not invade Ukraine.

Putin invades Ukraine.

Putin: This is not a war against Ukraine or Ukranians.

Putin bombs Ukrainian civilians.

Putin: The goal is to denazify Ukraine.

Putin takes Ukraine land and declares it Russian.

Putin: We want an end to hostilities.

Putin orders largest air attack to date.

Imagine being so dug in with admiration for a dictator that you ignore reality altogether.

Grandfather in Korea (career serviceman overseas), father killed in active duty, and uncle in unknown overseas various locations for 20 years (retired). All fought, on some level, against Russian-backed ideals. All officers. None trust(ed) the Soviets.

One thing to keep in mind, Ukraine will continue to receive equipment from the US for the next couple of years.

Once approved by congress, it has to be negotiated with defense contractors, then produced and shipped. Even though we have stopped funding, much of that still has to be made and delivered.

In addition, as Blinken walked out the door he gave us a real gift. The EU decided to use 50 billion of interest on frozen Russian assets to give to ukraine as a "loan". Blinken said the US would guarantee it.

If you remember Iran, when we unfroze their assets we also paid them the interest. When this ends Russia will demand the same and since Ukraine has no money, we will be stuck with this loan as well.

A nice little fu the eu and Blinken gave America....tariff the snot out of the eu.

Can’t happen. This is the money laundering capital of the world. Why do you think the USA sent billions to Ukraine that will never be accounted for?

Russia made its demands CLEAR during these negotiations with the US in January 2022.

Russia said that during these negotiationsthat it needs security guarantees that NATO would cease its expansion into Ukraine. How did we respond? Did we agree to not give Ukraine nato membership? Nope.

"And [Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman] insisted that some of Russia's demands were "simply non-starters," including a ban on NATO's further eastward expansion."

Russias demands have always been clear. Not only has none of his demands been met, but the west did everything it coukd to ensure Russia had no choice but to invade.

So what's going to happen now? Who holds the cards? Who's winning the war? Who needs to agree to Who's terms?

That's a fine record of service. So sorry for your father's sacrifice. God bless you and your family on Memorial Day.

Because you idiots who support him know he's a scumbag.

You lost all credibility by trying to attack anti Putin as "groomer globalists"

Hard to believe some people can be so stupid that they reflexively support that dictator over their own president.

Trump is in charge now, so globalists are out.

That might hold some weight if Ukraine was accepted into NATO. They weren't.

In the real world we can not want direct American involvement and still realize that a murderous dictator invading his neighbors probably isn't a good thing for the stability of the world.

I doubt many/any on the Board SUPPORT Putin. To me, he seems to act rationally (albeit brutally) in what he seems to believe is the best interest of his country. In the Ukraine war, Russia seems to have the upper hand, why shouldn't he pursue that advantage on behalf of Russia?

This is in contrast to the U.S. position. I have yet to hear any American leader explain why opposing Russia in Ukraine is in our interest. I feel some moral culpability for the NECON coup which led to the current conflict, but as with most of their misadventures, the goal wasn't to benefit the US generally.

Of course, the loss of life is tragic. I just don't see sacrificing more lives and money as accomplishing anything useful. Peace now.

You do realize this board has been infiltrated by people like JB who post, crow, and Jack off to dead Ukrainians.

That is going to paint your words in the same light as those Russian trolls.

They both need peace, but their leadership doesn't want it on both sides.

It's the few obvious ones like JB who flood the zone intending to paint everyone who won't defend mother Russia as a globalist.

The major reason is that he is aligned with China, and now deeply indebted to them.

China will go for Taiwan, probably in the next 5 to 10 years.

We cannot hold Europe and Asia at the same time, we need Non US NATO to hold Russia back, because Putin wants the Baltics as bad as he wants Ukraine.
Every reason he wants Ukraine applies to the Baltic region.

Why defend Taiwan?
Why not go isolationism?

Because China will fill the vacuum, they will crush our imports and exports fill our country with drugs and degrade the well being of our population.

I'm 100% on board with you saying peace now.
Eventually Ukraine collapses and Putin can loot them for soldiers and materials.

Zelensky is a awful human who is pushing the mass deaths of Ukrainians.

One can agree that Putin is a POS Communist dictator who needs to die tomorrow of Ebola without also agreeing that the United States should be funding the war.

If Putin and Zelenski both died today, the world would be a better place.

There are fringe people here who think he is doing the world a favor by purging us if globalists. It's not a prevailing mindset here but there are people here who support him.

Agreed, the sooner Europe realizes they need to money up the better for them.
