Was Russian help illegally accepted? That is the question that I'd like to get an answer on.

How is this any different than getting a dossier from a foreign entity
They didn't get it from a foreign entity, they got it from a US law firm.

Trump knowingly conspired with a foreign government for the express purpose of winning a federal election, in the form of accepting something of value from them.
And in your mind this is different from the Clinton-funded dossier?

Fusion GPS is a domestic firm that subcontracted out the intelligence gathering and didn't reveal their source to the Clinton campaign as far as I can tell. So it's different in that way.

According to Trump, it was.

Well they took the meeting didn't they? This is such a dumb argument. You might have unloaded two magazines at a person and missed all the shots. Sure you won't get charged for murder, but they'll catch you for attempted.
Soliciting the information is a crime. Doesn't matter if they got anything useful or not.

This is where you lose me. What did he actually accept or intend to accept? It seems to be pretty clear that nothing ever came from these discussions or offer.

Who got it from a foreign entity.
So at the very least you agree that the people Hillary and the DNC hired colluded with foreigners for the express purpose of winning a federal election, right?
BTW, Natalia Veselnitskaya, is a Russian lawyer. How is that any different than contracting a former British Intel agent with ties to Russia?
Either they're both crimes or neither is. You can't have it both ways.

Damaging information on Clinton - we don't know yet what exactly he was told the Russian government had on her or how he intended to use it, but we do know that he was told the had something and he did intend to use it.

So I can hire someone to commit a murder for me by this reasoning

Of course that's not what happened.

Natalia was working directly for the Russian government - the British former agent was mining public data and his own sources, who happened to be Russian.
You can try to pretend that they're the same all you like, but ask yourself why there's no special counsel investigating Clinton's campaign, yet Trump's has been fricked with multiple indictments, guilty pleas, and more to come.
Stop living in a fantasy world.

Only if you are a Clinton.

So the same thing Hillary and the DNC got on Trump, damaging information from a foreign entity.
The only difference seems to be that the information on Trump was fabricated and used illegally to get a FISA warrant.

Are they false when Trump openly admits that this is what happened?
Oh, they're not?

You're missing the point bud. The fact that Jr. took that meeting with Kushner and everyone else because they thought they were getting dirt on Hillary and were going to use it is evidence enough. It does not matter if they got help, they sought it out.

Here's another question for the Dims. If Putin wanted Trump to win the 2016 GE why would his intel baws help manufacture the Steele dossier to assist the DNC and Hilldawg? This dossier was the silver bullet that was going to bring Trump's presidency down.
