fear.

and not unfounded. who can you trust? I do not comprehend how any computers will be used again ever.
paper ballots!!
grumble.

one challenge is whether to pretend the 20 was stolen or have some Gingrich style list of to do's.
Sen johnson R-Wisc is apparently running on ending Medicare membership and socialist security. is that true? does granny get grandfathered in?
anyway a list you can actually run on in Michigan and Iowa ie somewhat competitive regions.

think Roe was rightly overturned, but it will definitely help the dems in Nov.

Why? What would indicate that?

Who is voting for members of congress based on a state legal issue?

Yeah, they are spending too much time worrying about Trump versus Pence and not about the Dems. Just saw an article indicating Rs are falling fast. As much as I hate to say it and bring on the downvotes, the Dobbs decision is going to be a negative in the upcoming election. And it was just dropped into the Rs lap or I should say the Ds laps.

Why? People keep saying that, but I haven’t seen anything to indicate that it would.

After all, it makes no sense that it would. Abortion is not a major congressional issue at all.

Generic ballot polling is more useless that POTUS popular vote polling, but I’m guessing that’s where this whole “Dobbs will hurt Republicans” trope is coming from.

MAGA is gonna frick up the RINO’s & Team LGBTQ in midterms.

The only squad we need to worry about is Dominion & county elections officials

Because it will energize (even slight is too much) an otherwise dispirited democrat electorate.

Ok. But why? Why would anyone go vote in a Congressional election because of abortion?

Beyond cable news pundits just saying so, what actually indicates that “new” enthusiasm?

I don’t believe the establishment DC R’s consider blocking ULTRA MAGA candidates from entering the Swamp as fricking up. The Swamp R’s are trying to preserve the corrupt DC political system.

You could be a democrat and be playing coy with these questions. I'd say because there is a large and impressionable populace in this country that just hates republicans. They will play on that shite. Have you seen more than a token few under 30s who like republicans? Gasoline prices have come down by the way. So that is on the back burner now.

They didn’t want to win.

They have been largely silent since 2019.

people who follow politics enough to viscerally hate one party or another were already voting, and Dobbs did not change any of those peoples’ votes

You obviously believe what you believe. Don't pay attention to the polling that will show Dems even with Repubs in about three weeks.

Dems have the media wind at their backs and could be energized. Dem registration is higher in number than the GOP so Dems do have some advantages.

You know certain polling organizations are saying the Dems pick up two senate seats.

I agree. They need to be the minority party because it keeps them from actually having to do anything and is great for fundraising.

Correct. Do not pay attention to the generic congressional ballot polling—-or the actual generic party wide results. It is a totally meaningless statistic, just like nationwide popular vote in POTUS elections.

That has nothing to do with Dobbs and everything to do with which seats are up this cycle. Plus Oz is essentially handing the PA seat to the Democrats.

You’re falling for media gaslighting on Dobbs. Quit doing that.

Wisconsin looks doable. Johnson may be indicted for his part in fake elector fraud case that is 100% certain to sweep up some who signed it.. Johnson's staff was apparently courier.
