So let me summarize this thread for all the late comers. The OP and subsequent only Trumpers admit that there is a significant portion of the Republican party and independents that won't ever vote for Trump. They admit that this is the reason he lost the last 3 elections. They acknowledge the fact that never trumpers are not going to change their mind. Yet they won't acknowledge that there are actually other candidates that could beat Biden simply by not being Trump. Basically we're caught in a standoff between only trumpers who are willing to lose the general election because they can't quit Trump, and "Ron Bots" who see a way out of the cycle of losing, but can't convince enough people of what is actually happening.

Like I said. Holding the nomination process hostage. Elect our guy, or else. It’s pathetic when either side does that.

This is choosing Trump to be the nominee.

He has no realistic path to 270.

Same. Ppl know they fricked up letting Biden in 2020. There’s a small Amt of libs and never trumpers left. Most ppl just stay out of it. Notice how you don’t see us saying , “nOt My pReSIdEnT!!

Dems ruined this country and people know it.

Sure. That’s a bad quality of Trump. But your whataboutism doesn’t change the fact that there are some seriously weak-minded people all over this thread saying they would rather Biden than Trump.

I agree. Anyone considering sitting at home or not checking the box for whoever the Republican is, is tacitly stating they prefer the policies of Biden to those of the Republican nominee. That

1000%

I’ve grown very sick of Trump and deeply appreciate what Ron has done for my state and family but I’ll be there when the polls open to vote Trump.

Anyone saying they won’t vote for the other is a paid agitator as far as I’m concerned.

They are saying nominate anyone else besides Trump. That's how elections work, you have to build coalitions.

So its up to you to find one that:

Shares your values
Can capture those people

But it's not "emotionally weak" or "soft" to object to the crass imbecilic emotionally ranting toddler and want American leaders to stop behaving like teenage girls on social media. Any reasonable adult man should.

100%. What is weak minded is allowing that boorish behavior to lead you to directly or tacitly support the democrat candidate over the Republican candidate.

Yeah. But the question you should ask yourself is whether or not those voters are willing to listen to Trump. As we’ve seen in 2018, 2022 & 2022 they don’t seem to care much. He’s got to change something so that they’ll reconsider that… or things have to get far worse under Biden. I mean far far worse. It isn’t bad enough right now.

Yes

95% of the Trump discussion on this board centers around Trump loyalists refusing to admit that they're loyal to the man before anything else.

Have you ever answered what the significance of Counties in a general presidential election is? Going for land, as you say?

money(or some other trumper) said in another thread "see this is the disconnect between Ron and Don supporters".

THIS is the disconnect. Trumpers are all about Trump. Ron supporters could give a shite about Ron....they're voting because Ron has shown to have very conservative polices and had a lot of success running his state against very big and difficult enemies.

Cry about it all you want but that is the reality.

Massive General Elections are about building coalitions among a vast group of disparate people across an entire nation.

If you know 1 guy can't do it, you choose someone else.

ANYONE saying they are a conservative that will sit at home and tacitly vote for the democrat over the Republican in the general is a weak-minded fool.

I don't give a frick about any politician. I'd vote for any good conservative republican for the most part.

Ron just happens to currently be the guy that shares our values and has done well.

In 2028 there will be someone else for us. They will still be pimping Trump at 83 years old
