I agree with him. The U.S. government should get back to formal declarations of war to justify military intervention. Such is how those powers are assigned in the Constitution. Congress essentially made itself irrelevant when they delegated power to the President under the War Powers Act and AUMF’s that seemingly always get rubber stamped.

The president does not need Congress to use military force. I think Trump has a 3 month window.

The War Powers Resolution allows the president to commit military forces for 60 days without either Congressional approval or a formal declaration of war.

The WPR also allows an additional 30 days for a safe and orderly withdrawal of those troops.

President-elect Trump announced a libertarian-like foreign policy at his first “thank you” rally in Cincinnati on Thursday night.

While sharing core components of the tasks he will have his administration focus on, Trump rolled out new directions for the State and Defense Departments...

Hamas AND ISIS AND Al Qaeda -- ALL created bogeymen. As were the rest of them. Can't have peace without fabricating Death and Mayhem calling cards.

All that said, let's be honest -- this military adventurism is purely about imposing power and control.

My entire life has been spent watching us fight wars in the Middle East under false pretenses.

I’m embarrassed I supported the first one and almost signed up myself, but have tried to learn from it.

It’s really difficult to watch good conservative and Christian people continue to cheer on this parade of lies that’s sends their dads, sons and grandkids into harms way on the same lies 30 years into it.

I feel like I owe it to my friends who came back with PTSD or injured from our past adventures to call it out as it continues to happen even if it isn’t popular.

I agree completely that Trump is acting in a legal way in making these strikes.

I also don’t think this will be anything more than a decapitation strike and arming preferred rebel groups to take over the government.

Exactly, brutha. This IS indeed about the ultimate "power & control" (over a nation's money.)

The enslavement and restrictions of freedom and sovereignty is just a bonus.

Neat list.

Let's not forget Qaddafi's Libya and Saddam's Iraq.

There we go. Big part of the blueprint ("From the River to the Sea" is another.)

Why do you hate the Constitution ? LOL! No one is more a believer in the U.S.Constitution than I am. But the world of warfare has changed.

Unfortunately, the world of miniaturized nuclear warheads and hypersonic missiles has changed everything. No room for mistakes.

The proliferation of nations with nuclear capability has made the world a much more dangerous place. Thanks to corrupt Presidents like Bill Clinton. FACT - I recall Bill Clinton sent his Energy Secretary Hazel O'Leary to bargain (allegedly) for business ties with China's petrochemical industry. In exchange Bill Clinton (through O'Leary) gave the ChiComs our latest supercomputer technology. These advanced supercomputers gave the ChiComs the ability to simulate, on computer, a nuclear detonation. Thereby, avoiding the prying eyes of those pesky American satellites looking for evidence of ChiCom surface or underground nuclear detonations.

They also used the technology to miniaturize their nuclear warheads as well. Technology which they shared with North Korea. I know I watched, in disgust, as Hazel O'Leary stood in front of the ChiComs positively giddy at the prospect of ChiCom money lining her pockets. Over the years I've watched the democrats do a whole lot of corrupt and evil things.

Yep the democrats are both crazy and evil. They have, in effect, left it to President Trump to clean up the mess created by past corrupt democrat Presidents.

Howl and screech demoncrats.

FACTS are stubborn things - John Adams

If virtue signaling means I don’t want people to die in another stupid war then count me in I guess.

If you use the bible to justify a war of aggression, then you are interpreting the scripture wrong.

If you say any one person is “right about everything”, then you are in a cult. Seek help.

It's been a difficult task even for those of us who were/ are "awake" enough to dismiss the ongoing propaganda and psyops of, "Be a patriot! We are under attack! We must fight them there so we don't have to HERE!" "We're defending FREEDOM!!" It's been like a collectively cast magic spell (I personally believe that to be THE case for much of our history -- especially with respect to wars.)

I'm glad you managed to go against the grain and realize what was happening. Brutha, we've all been there. I'm embarrassed to admit at first I bought into the first Iraqi War reasons. (2003 didn't make sense from the get-go.) And now we realize it's all been nonsense.

Hear ya. Exactly. We've been programmed & conditioned to "be patriots" and "fulfill our duty and honor to country"; of course we've discovered the power of programming. Yes, sent "in harms way" thousands of miles away -- for what? Same ol'. Power & Control. Of the Same Elites.

Kudos. You are a man of honor and integrity. Seen the same as well and it hurts to witness. Keep on doing what you do -- not everyone likes or even wants to know truth of course. But you might be their only hope.

I’d be able to stomach it to some degree if they’d resulted in better economic outcomes for Americans at home, but to sandwich the lies with globalist economic policy which outsourced jobs and gutted middle America feels like outright treason.

At least with Trump he seems committed to rebuilding the domestic economy and isn’t committing ground units, but it still feels like we got dragged into this by our “friends” again despite any domestic support. If it’s regime change it better be a pro US regime unlike what we saw in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Enjoy our conversations on here and appreciate the support my friend.

I think it is more about putting long term pressure on China. Iran and Venezuela contribute approximately 20% of China's annual oil imports, and in agreements that strongly favor the CCP.

Remove that 20%, factor in the US bypassing the Saudis as the world's leading producer, as well as Russia being tied up in Ukraine, China loses some of its negotiating powers.

That might be a tangible benefit to MAGA.

It’s not why Israel pushed for and got these strikes. I believe they see China as a counterbalance to the US that benefits them while they take out threats to their regional strength.

That said if we can cleanly “Venezuela” Iran and replace their government with a pro-US entity it would be a benefit to America geo strategically, even if I dislike having to get involved in yet another middle eastern war.

But I don’t think it’s a coincidence that we keep toppling nations who aren’t aligned with the globalist banking system.
