It's going to be rough when it pops off, and honestly you can "war game" it all you want, but this national divide is so volatile that it's impossible to predict exactly what will happen. It began to be obvious around the turn of the century, but the years 2009-2016 were the absolute catalyst to what we're seeing today. From there, we only continued this downward trajectory.
