I have doubts that trump is sophisticated enough or inspires enough loyalty among the political types to pull off something like colluding with a foreign power.

I firmly believe he didn't do anything wrong on purpose. And most likely didn't do anything at all about it.

I do think Russia loves that they keep making it look like he did though. This whole fricking sideshow is their best case scenario for a fake dossier.

Wow, RR sworn in going balls deep saying he was in charge of a lot of people; with the 'we had to investigate we didn't know.' Also downplaying the SC because it was limited and not independent. This is surreal to hear and I knew it was coming.

It's going to essentially boil down to..."we were sloppy but we've learned a lot and will do better in the future.....plus we meant no harm."

she just fricking said this as I was typing wow

Did any of the R senators correct her false statement or did they leave their backnbone at home as usual.

Democrats are going to hang on this lie for as long as they can get away with it and probably a bit beyond that. Hell, CNN is STILL pushing Russian collusion narrative without a shred of evidence over a 3 year investigation.

It really sounded like he was about to say that if he knew what we know now about the predicate for Crossfire Hurricane he wouldn't have approved the Mueller investigation. However, he never went that far.

I think he's trying to frame what happened in a fair way. McCabe didn't lie directly but he wasn't candid or forthcoming. so he withheld and reframed on rosenstein.

Rosenstein can't articulate the predicate for the investigation.

Admitted there was no crime to investigate.

Wow you can fricking tell the Graham questioning was rehearsed.

Not verbatim rough summary:

Graham: did you sign the FISA warrant?

RR: Yes

Graham: if you knew what you know now would you have signed it.

RR: No, mistakes were made.

Graham: Did McCabe ever lie to you?

RR: No.

Graham: did you rely on McCabe?

(RR: didn't sell out McCabe)

RR: there was predication to investigate

It is so obvious the fix is in. Mistakes were made they are all fired now...

Graham soft balling with a touch of false outrage for the camera
