We had to clear up that a law which doesn’t authorize tariffs, doesn’t authorize tariffs.
Yes. You now have the SCOTUS on recent record.

And now he's trying to start a war to cover for it. Amazing
Thankfully we have the increased local property taxes from Nashville to fund our bloated military!

What now?
Ignore the courts. Who gives a shite.
Tell the courts to enforce it with their army…

Sure.
That's a great plan.
For a drooling moron.

It's absolutely embarrassing what I've watched the Republican party be reduced to. They are done. For a long time.

Doubtful. They clearly authorize tariffs and have a history of being used that way. If they passed a new law it would have the same effect
He chose a statute that literally doesn't reference tariffs or contain the word tariff

I am not going to comment until I have read the opinion, but it strikes me as odd that tariffs = foreign policy which is NOT the purview of the courts.

It’s a bad look to act like you think that was the motivation here.
But I guess Trump is just here for us to clarify obscure administrative law through intentionally misapplied programs and protracted litigation

Solving problems that don't exist and were never a threat at the expense of chaos in our economy domestically and the international economy

As smart as you are, it's like you have ignored the 5 years of Trump's presidency so far and the constant resistance both sides of our own Congress throw in his face, no matter what laws are used justifiably or not.

Nah. He's said there are other ways he can get it done. This is disappointing though.
Bessent has been planning for this for months. You will see a swift response. The net effect will be minimal.

You are not over the target. Climb to 5,000 feet, circle back and try again.

Hell, they even elected a populist. And MAGA is attacking anyone that isn't going along with the swamp these days.
If fixing the country requires building a coalition with those POS's, the country will noy be fixed, as simple as that.

November is going to only be the first round bud. You're in for a rough ride.

Oh, come on. You have no idea what anybody here has or hasn't accomplished, and it's irrelevant to the question anyway.
This was not difficult to predict. For anyone. Basic knowledge of civics was enough to see this one coming.
If you didn't, it's because you refused to. Because Orange is your Jesus. (I'm not speaking to you personally here, using the royal "you").
