Did you ever stop to consider that there may be other combat vets on this board?

I know there are for a fact. They don’t lead with getting bent on someone using a term (TF160) they may never heard of to refer to a unit they know little about. They don’t follow up trying to establish their credentials with “I prepared briefings”.

Probably the most irritating part is having a fricking crayola eating Marine acting like spelling and grammar off a phone on a message board establishes something. I probably should cut him some slack because he was almost Delta (according to him) probably because he fueled one of their trucks.

However, to pretend that you have no idea why is pretty hilarious.

I don’t have any idea who these people are.

News flash, Zeke: Not everybody is scouring tribal media for people to hate on.

Well at least I didn’t break out the PFC* response of “my son is a crew chief”….dear fricking God you are a moron.

Yes I am a proud crayon eater (the red taste the best) but telling an infantry officer to “read slowly while moving your lips” shows what a miserable ignorant piece of shite you really are. Plus your reading comprehension skills are severely lacking since I never in my wildest dream thought of cross decking to the Army nor said such. As for fueling a truck, that sounds like the job of a box kicker which you bragged about. Field grade grunt officers have other stuff to worry about and let our Gunny’s run the show.

Long story short you have no clue what the Rear Admiral was relieved for and assuming it was because an Army aviation unit not being ultilzed by a Navy Unit he leads is not just a huge stretch it jumps the chain of command and makes absolutely zero sense….As a former sergeant you wouldn’t likely grasp that but you sure sounded cool saying Task Force 160**

Note * = PFC is not a term of endearment when military members use it to refer to a civilian.

Note ** = this the the definition of a Task Force: A task force is a unit or formation established to work on a single defined task or activity. Originally introduced by the United States Navy, the term has now caught on for general usage and is a standard part of NATO terminology. Many non-military organizations now create "task forces" or task groups for temporary activities that might have once been performed by ad hoc committees. So by referring to something as a task force it means it is TEMPORARY which the 160th SOAR is not and why I was confused and calling it out!

My last comment because your ignorance is tiresome.

Assuming “cross decking” is some department of the Navy way of saying going to a different branch, if you’d done 1/2 as much as you claim you’d know Delta can and does recruit from all the branches. You don’t have to be army to be invited.

Have a nice life.

Sands served with Seal team 2 around the same time as Shawn Ryan. Wonder if Shawn has any insight? I know 2 SEALS drowned in the Adriatic last year. After action report said that inadequate training was a factor in their deaths.

Jesus you are one dumb frick & reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit. Just because I never had a desire to leave the Corps doesn’t mean I did not know that Delta has some members from other branches. Keep being a PFC with just a smattering of knowledge (oh by the way review the org chart and tell who is the combatant commander responsible for detailing 160th SOAR detachements/deployments is and what type of command is NavSpecWar is?)
