Alabama is one of the few states with the balls to find and report these voters.

You can imagine how bad the problem is in other states that actively cover it up and have larger illegal populations.

California has hundreds of thousands of illegals voting.

States like Nevada and Arizona are razor close. Every election Dems probably have an extra 50K illegal vote advantage that has to be overcome. That's usually their margin of "victory"

If that is really the case, there is some gross incompetence in Alabama.

In the two states I've lived in, I had to show either my US passport or a birth certificate and a driver's license.

When you apply for your immigrant visa with the U.S. Department of State, you can also apply for an SSN card at the same time.

You can also get a drivers license in many states. And some states use the DMV as a mailing list for ballots.......course those ballots never reach the person......

Noncitizens are not necessary illegals. For instance, Alabama's punter is a non-citizen from Australia.

Confirming all voters are citizens in accordance with the law is important to election integrity and should be done in all states.

Those illegal aliens are going to vote Dem whether they vote or not. Their ballots will be mailed in. There will be millions of them IMHO.

Nothing to worry about, the DEMs have assured us that it is rare for illegals to vote in our elections.

This is going to happen in every state. It's yet another way to cheat that they've added to their arsenal of rigged voting machines and mass mail ballots that get dropped off by the stack load. What idiot couldn't see this coming? There's a reason they've let in 15 million plus illegals the last 3 plus years. The left is always one step ahead in America.

They can't force you to show documentation proving you're a legal citizen/ voter to register for Federal elections...That's a Federal law that applies for all states. The Feds are supposed to have some system set up where county recorders can check and confirm if a voter, is in fact a Citizen, but it's probably a piece of shite system and nobody is enforcing election laws anyway at the Fed level...Who knows if people are actually checking it, and how often...It's not like anyone (the FBI) will do anything about it..

States have different laws for their local elections, but for Federal elections all you have to do is check a box on the form to attest you are a Citizen.

Serious question. How are you to prove your citizenship? Would that mean bringing a copy of your birth certificate to the poll to vote? I’m trying to remember, do you have to have a copy of your birth certificate to get a driver’s license? If so, does that mean a license would suffice to vote? Because illegal aliens get driver’s license, right? So how do you go about proving citizenship? I’m just thinking out loud?

This obviously is why Democrats so oppose IDs to vote. Only criminals who are trying to rig elections to stay in power indefinitely would be opposed to making sure only those who have the right to vote can vote.

they've only "done something", something effective when they arrest the heads of whatever local office (DMV, county registration, etc.) that either let them register without the proper checks and/or issued those IDs/DLs.

in most places that is designed to be done at the voter registrar's office. Then you only need that registration card to vote at the polls.

It is impractical to do anything but verify identity at the actual polling sites.

I think just a Social Security number when you register to vote...Some states require you to use a birth certificate and SSN to get a travel ID type Drivers license, so that type of Drivers license might work as well to prove citizenship.

Interesting how bad AL is going. Years ago it was actually a pretty good state. At least when I was there.

What is the charge/penalty for someone registering to vote, but not actually doing so? Does it only become a crime if they vote?
