Like increasing state regulation of Disney?

Again, not sure why you think that affects me. I'm all for using the power of the state against progressivism. It doesn't conflict with my ideology. I'm proud of it.

Nope. See above.

But at least you've fessed up to the fascist nature of the Right, oppressive government until you get your utopia, then less government.

Ideologues are all the same, whether they are on the left or the right. They're so-called "principles" are just a smoke screen.

Meh. Again, you don't understand. I do not subscribe to any "principle" about limited government. I fully subscribe to using the power of the state to defeat progressivism. LOL that you think calling me a fascist hurts my feelings.

Disney Corp was pretty much self-regulating, now the state is moving back in to impose their regulations and you want to try to convince people that's LESS state intervention.

Not very bright I see. The state just REPEALED a special taxing district, which means less state intervention

And its a damn vacation destination, Why should taxpayers give a frick how well they are run?

Not if Disney is going to hold them hostage for not accepting the sexual grooming of their children. Because that's exactly what's happening.

Exactly.

Tell Disney don't come to Florida if your intention is to fight AGAINST Floridians and free Americans

So your entire purpose in this thread isn’t to voice support or opposition to removing the extra government protection Disney has enjoyed….it is simply to feebly attempt to call out “the board” as fascist? That is the most stereotypical leftist thing I’ve heard all day. Well done.

The lack of self-awareness is hilarious. It’s like he’s literally the only one who doesn’t see what he’s doing.

By the time that economic hit is felt by Floridians Desantis will already be gone. That’s the cynical view of it anyway. But to outright dismiss that hypothesis without any thought whatsoever would be pretty naive and shortsighted. And all that said in consideration of the fact that I’d very much hope it’s not the case in the slightest. But hopes and feels don’t excuse a responsible thought process on it. Unfortunately that seems to be a minority view.

Not at all, I was actually responding to this:
quote:

I'm someone on the right who wants to use the government to smash your progressive agenda. And I mean like Rome salting the earth of Carthage. Once that's accomplished, we can discuss "small government".

I mean, when you're replying to basically, "Carthago delenda est!", not much could be considered "hyperbole".

Being moderate isn’t a vice. Being unaware that you’re not a moderate and claiming that you are is a vice. It’s deceitful, idiotic, and erratic.

How can people be so tone deaf and still post on a political forum? Florida is doing Disney a favor. The executives can turn face and drop this woke agenda and regain their special privilege.

Had do you told any major corporation they would get 55 years of special treatment in near autonomy on how they run their business and property, like Florida did Disney, guaranteed every company would jump at that deal.

You are probably right. The modern left is so "in the bubble" that they've convinced themselves that their ideas are mainstream, opposition is hate speech, activism is domestic terror, and criticism is misinformation.

Florida is a perfect example. The bill has broad, bilateral majority support among Floridians. Nationally, the vast majority of reps, moderates, and indy's support the bill. Even 42% of lefty's support it. But the vocal minority are just certain that everyone agrees with them - probably because they've shut out any and all alternative points of view.
