Shut it down and just leave it shut down. We'll figure the rest out.

I am in favor of this probable shutdown.

In the past I was not in favor of shutdowns as the employees get back pay when they return. That is SUCH B.S.

Now, they get laid off, hopefully. (I do not wish hardship on people, we have a bigger issue at hand)

Welcome to the real world.

I hate to see actual 'good' programs get paused
But more than that ....
You love to see it.

Let's see what we can live with and live without.
Just pay down the debt, pllllluuhhhlease.

Isnt the plan pretty much the same as the last one but without funding healthcare for illegals?

Certainly the Democrats dont think that is a winning issue with voters?

"We shutdown the government so that we can take your tax dollars and provide healthcare to people here illegally..."

WTF

If the Republicans had an ounce of testicular fortitude they would claim the shut down loudly and proudly.

They are so used to the media controlling the narrative that the feel empowered to say a lot of pretty, but empty, words that play on the emotions of their base and manipulate the people to get their way.

Their own hubris won’t allow them to change their tactics even in the face of this era of free speech and their lying narratives being exposed.

Never change, Dems…

Government shutdowns should not be taken lightly. Here ya go. I’ve made a list of all the adverse effects a government shutdown will have on our lives:

That's what I understand, yes. Their sticking point is $1.5T of extra healthcare spending so illegals can get free healthcare again.

They are purposely avoiding mentioning that. They are hiding it behind "healthcare for millions will be cut off".

And less people will fall for it than the last time they tried this stunt. Hell most Republicans are completely on board with a shutdown.

According to AI the President has the authority to make appointments during a government shutdown. It is the equivalent of making "recess apointments" when the Senate is not in session. Great opportunity for Trump to get his remaining people through the process in one full swoop.
