I don’t believe the U.S. had it aircraft carrier support properly positioned to strike Iran.

That’s currently changing:

quote:

While Washington considers the potential outcome of the growing revolutionary movement in Iran—and the rising death toll from massacres committed by the clerical regime’s security forces—the U.S. Navy has ordered the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group to redeploy from the Indo-Pacific theater to the Middle East.

When you slaughter 12,000 citizens in the streets and the world does nothing, there’s really not much else to report.

What I'm trying to say to you all is that the strike to Iran is coming from within.

You will very likely be proven right. But the “troops on the ground” will need air support. That’s where the aircraft carriers com in.

I put “troops on the ground” in quotes because officially I don’t believe that is supposed to be public knowledge.

IDK. According to the article I linked 11 hours ago we are moving the “USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group from the Indo-Pacific theater to the Middle East” in response to “ the growing revolutionary movement in Iran”.

It certainly looks like we are positioning assets to make a strike.

Netanyahu literally told Trump he couldn't, there's more Israelis (mossad) in Iran right now than there are Iranians

Not too long ago, we were being told that Trump was going to invade Iran for Israel. Now, he's not going to invade because of Israel.

If Trump goes left, it's because of Israel. If Trump goes right, it's because of Israel. Blaming everything on Israel distracts from the legitimate complaints.

A smaller percentage of Iranians participated in this protest than US citizen participated in the pussy hat protest. Were we ever worried that the pussy hat protests were going to overthrow the US government?

This was always a media amplification operation from Israel to try to generate support for US invasion/regime change. Thankfully, Trump was smart enough to see through it and keep his cool. This board, not so much

Trump was just teasing. He would rather invade Greenland. Sorry Iran, maybe next time.

Why do we even care? Iran is on the other side of the globe? Really, as an American who gives a crap?

Why should we not care that people successfully stand up to tyrants? You don't have to be involved, or live there to "give a crap".

I don't understand this weird isolationist phenomenon in this country, where people are so hell bent on having nothing to do with anything that doesn't directly involve America, that we can't even root for people in other countries to enjoy the freedoms that we do.

Hint: Being American doesn't get you into heaven. We're not special. We're just very blessed. We could easily be living under tyranny, and we'd sure want people to care about us, and pray for us.

Unfortunately for them they were told we were going to back their efforts. They got hung out to dry.

Trump backed off because we could not guarantee a decisive blow to the regime and there was not a clear plan for what happens next. it’s a tough call, but it was the right call - guided by America First.

As for the Iranians, it’s up to them to topple the government. really goes to show you the power of the 2nd amendment. you can protest all you want, but without guns, it’s not a real threat to the government. with that being said, conditions are not going to get better any time soon, so the window is still open.

A "friendly" Iran would benefit the entire region plus a "nuclear" Iran governed by fanatical Islamists is disturbing to say the least . .
