That was a win % probability that turned out to be wrong
Does that mean that all polls have no informational value at all?

Umm, I think it was a little more than just "wrong." It was fricking fake. Entirely fabricated. You don't just get something "wrong" with a +/- 90+% margin of error.

1. It was a campaign promise so if they were serious a team would have been going them them on Day 1.
2. The Government has whole departments capable of going through it. Not just a bunch on unorganized people on the internet. Isn't the number one complaint that the gov is too big? You can't use the excuse they don't have the manpower.
3. When they had the congressman come in and look at them they were still in old formats. If they were serious they would have all of this info on a database and AI going through them. Elon Musk would gladly help.
4. They thought this would go away.
