True, but this wasn’t about the truckers at all for Trudeau — this was merely an opportunity to seize more power, and now that he’s got it, he’s not giving it back. No one ever gives back power. Trudeau will simply go after these truckers and all those who supported them like any good tyrant would.
Just watch.

The threats made by Trudeau et al. won't be forgotten.
Everyone from "taking your pets and if not claimed in seven days, put down" to cancelling your insurance, freezing your bank accounts, and on and on.
Banks are going to have to look closely at what the govt can and can't do. People who put their money in them will be watching.
Canceling insurance by mandate?
Where was the government the last time the Canadian Post Office went on strike? is reaction to strikes a pick and choose at the behest of the PM?

Once you have a family, and in particular once you have kids, you lose the luxury of principle. I’ll risk a lot if only I will suffer the consequences, but my ability to resist tyranny ends the moment that resistance poses an existential threat to my kids. My first duty is to them above all else. The tyrannies I’d impose on others to protect them are essentially limitless, so I’d certainly abandon resistance to tyranny for them.
You suck at founding fathering.

Some demonstrators surrendered and were taken into custody, according to police, while others were seen being led away in handcuffs.
Officers went door to door along a line of trucks, campers and other vehicles parked on Ottawa's snow-covered streets.
Some wore tactical unit uniforms and carried automatic weapons.
One person being led away held a sign that read "Mandate Freedom".
Many of the truckers remained defiant.
"Freedom was never free," said trucker Kevin Homaund, of Montreal. "So what if they put the handcuffs on us, and they put us in jail?"
Much of the city centre was sealed off to outsiders on Thursday to prevent them from helping the protesters.
Police made it clear they were preparing to end the protest and remove the more than 300 trucks on site.
The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, citing security sources, said authorities had set up temporary detention centres around Ottawa.
Some 100 checkpoints were set up to prevent any more people from joining the protest near the Canadian parliament.
The House of Commons cancelled its Friday sitting due to expected police action.

Overall, the goal is “control” IMHO. They don’t care how well the world does as long as they are the ones calling the shots, as opposed to the “little people” doing so.
Honestly, that more control aspect comes naturally as technology improves. These are the same people that have been orchestrating wars. What exactly is it they hope to accomplish? This is all going to lead to major conflict all over the world if they aren’t stopped. I believe the financial situation in western countries is so fricked that it may be one of the reasons

A “Marxist” Canada still has a higher standard of living than virtually anywhere else in the world ever.
Every Marxist nation on this planet says you are wrong.
It will decline into a dictatorship and rights, means... they will decline.

Not at all. They made their point and people heard it. They can't keep a blockade up forever.
72 percent of respondents in the Angus Reid poll said protesters should “go home now”
93 percent supported some sort of action to remove them, with 68 percent wanting the police or military to do so by force.
44 percent even said the protests made them more inclined to support measures like indoor masking and showing proof of vaccination at the Canada-U.S. border.

Out of curiosity, when did Canada nationalize private property?

That’s why you need massive numbers of people on the same page. It won’t matter how much tech you have if you have 200M people on the same page. People are starting to get it

Has anyone heard anything about Elon with his big donations?

Give Trudeau a week. He has threatened to seize property from all protesters and has already frozen assets of protesters and people who supported them.

There's no guarantee when you make your point that you will convince people your point is correct. All you can do is make it. It's up to others to decide for themselves about it.
It seems like some on the right consider the trucker protest a failure unless it spirals into civil war or overthrowing the government. That's ridiculous.
My observation is that the truckers engaged in a protest, got attention focused on them, and made their point. That's the best they could do.

they tried to do this protest while keeping people fed
now it's time to show the government how this ends...

I don't disagree, but be prepare for isolate and neuter techniques. When you get to loud or catch too many ears you just disappear.

I just looked up a bunch of polls here in the US and in Canada. There’s always that 33% or so that disapprove. That number comes up with everything when it comes to the Marxist/socialist left. Doesn’t matter the issue. These people have been so thoroughly mind fricked by these Marxist psyops it’s going to be hard for them to ever return to normalcy. Their lives are going to be miserable until they finally die.
Anyway, Majority approve or somewhat approve. Minority disapprove. That’s standard across the board, as usual. You really have to go digging to find that bull shite poll he posted. It was probably people in the city. The media is constantly trying to tell a narrative that the majority is the minority and the minority is the majority. Nobody falls for that crap anymore
