I'm personally planning to make a movie of the incontrovertible proof of fraud and charge $29.99 to view it.

Always take free money.

Who exactly says he is more unpopular?

Every possible metric. Seriously, every single one.

Past election results at the general and primary levels, exit polling, opinion polling, approval polling etc.

Donald Trump the politician has never been “popular”, defined as enjoying majority support, in any election where he’s faced an opponent.

It’s so bizarre to me that people who support him push back on that. The exit polling and post-2020 statistical analysis shows exactly where Trump lost support. But you guys have dug in so deeply on the idea that nothing other than fraud can be responsible for his 2020 loss, so you can’t see it.

matter what happens, if Trump loses people will make Youtube videos that convince 35% of the GOP that the election was stolen. Then that 35% will spend the entire next POTUS cycle obsessing over it at the expense of all other issues.

Don't you mean when the Republican Candidate loses again?

It doesn't matter if it's Trump or not - tho Trump will animate those who hate him.

The same collusion between DNC and media, the same ballot chicanery (mail-in, harvesting), the same hiding some stories and amplifying others will ensure a Democrat win.

The GOP will of course not fight anything leading up to or following their loss...

I don’t support Ron DeSantis.

I’m guessing you’re one of the minority of the GOP who thinks that the 2020 election should be a campaign issue this cycle. I’ll thank you and your fellow minority of the party in advance for once again nominating bad candidates and losing elections in 2024.

I’m pretty sure that’s not how it works. Minority vote totals in primaries don’t achieve nominations.

Not a Ron guy. But your knee-jerk assumption that anyone who speaks critically of Trump or the 2020-election obsession is out to get him is perfectly on point.

Well that is completely false. Plurality winners are VERY common in both primary and general elections in most states.

Donald Trump won the 2016 Republican nomination with mere plurality (read: minority or less than 50%) GOP support.

Plurality does not mean minority in the context of primary races. Are you saying that a minority vote getter amongst fellow primary candidates wins that particular primary?

Sure it does, to the extent that several states have runoff provisions because they want the winner to get over 50%.

A plurality of anything, in any political scenario, will always “mean” a minority. It’s inherent. A plurality winner does not have majority support and did not receive a majority of votes.

Yes. A candidate that obtained 49.999999999% of the vote is a plurality winner with only minority support. The majority of voters voted against that candidate. Play whatever semantics you want with that.

Depends how he loses. In this hypothetical, does he increase his vote by 17% like he did last time? Is he falsely imprisoned on election day? Or does he limp into the general election with much less support than he enjoys currently and loses votes from 2020?

Again? The 2020 election was the assault on democracy that you hear all the marxist democrats pissing their pants about now. We all know it. 6 swing states don't all inexplicably decide to stop counting votes at the same time, only to issue new vote totals a few hours later, all of them showing Trump's comfortable leads gone, and Dementia Joe leading. The election was and is fraudulent. Just because the shitbag republicans refused to fight the fraud, does not make it a legitimate election

The number of people who think any of that is remotely true is dwindling.

Ok, so like I said, minorities (or “pluralities” if you wish) don’t achieve party nominations in primaries.
