The only ones I've ever seen were the stories/photos of Klan members marching on Ole Miss years ago. We got a great photo of one of the klansmen in an Auburn hat to remember it by. Still, they were so few in number and. no one cared for their existence.
Lived in the South/Deep South my entire life other than several years spent near the equator.

Nope. I'm mid 70's and still have never met or known anyone of any race who believes their race should have control of other races. I have an insane 78 Y.O. relative who is a rabid democrat. He says all Republicans are "sorry people" and should be locked up. Good thing I'm an independent! He believes only democrats should be allowed to have power. So he is a democrat supremacist.
He like you probably needs to get out more and open your mind to the views of others. You'd probably be amazed at how friendly and cordial and unbiased most folks are.
Edit to say I was introduced to a guy some 55 years ago who was a real live KKK guy. He was so rare that when someone saw him they would remark there is so and so, he is a member of the KKK. Like there goes O.J. Simpson, he is a Heisman trophy winner who killed his wife. A rare bird.

There was a rumor that existed for years about a local owner of a garage being the ‘head’ of a KKK group. This persisted until he was seen at the doctor’s office and grocery store with an elderly black woman. She had brought her car in for repairs and did not have any family in the area.

The mere suggestion that not all cause and effect relationships come down to racism qualifies you for cancellation.
On a related note- can the everyday black person ( not black “leadership”) ever change the way they see the world? Will it always be skin color first and foremost?
The company I work for has been holding a series of “town halls” and the complaints from the black portion of the workforce are vehemently attributed to racism, while many of these complaints are experienced by ALL employees.
It’s an amazing exercise in fragility.
