What’s the point? They have the guy admitting to everything. There is physical evidence of the break in. There is a witness who heard the break in. He was witnessed hitting Pelosi by law enforcement. Plenty to support charging the guy.

I doubt anyone has issues with justice being served, but this awkwardly obvious ploy to tie this to republicans is fricking lower than low. Who sits around thinking, "How can we use my husband's brutal attack to hurt Trump?". Sadly this stuff has become par for the course with the left and their kept media.

I don't know. There's more than a good bit odd there. It would seem a note that certain aspects of it were confirmed via a review of relevant surveillance footage might have been in order.
But, maybe I'm just the crazy one here. Who knows?
