The NFL is dead to me. I have not watched a single play this season. All the woke bs has gone too far. I have my Sundays back.

You need to realize who your responding to before you take the bait. He was trolling.

If the halftime sponsors predict there will be a much lower viewership, the NFL can't charge as much for airtime. The halftime commercials are the biggest audience because lots of people who don't watch the game (lots of women) tune in just for those.

This is embarrassing for some of you.

The NFL gives you 11 minutes of actual action and 100 commercials to endure in 3 hours. Trashy overpaid players. Fake excitement announcers. Felons names taped to helmets. Kneeling for the flag. The 'Black National Anthem'. Virtue signaling painted in the endzones.

And some fruit singer at halftime is what is going to make you boycott.

And maybe not the whole thing, just won't watch the halftime show.

Hey man I said princes show was pretty good and purple rain is a good song

But yeah I feel he released tons of filler and it’s kind of suspect if anything good would come out of the unreleased stuff. There are plenty of musicians that can play the standard repertoire of instruments but most of them aren’t egomaniacs that insist on recording every one. And it’s probably not a royalty thing in that case you can pay a session musician and not give them a cut

I think the lead singer of Iron Maiden played professional soccer or something to counter your basketball trivia

I don’t even like this guy but the Opposite Day prince is the guy from 9 inch nails. Basically started his own genre, played all the instruments, lots of side projects, lots of “music” released (mostly bad) but he isn’t hailed as some visionary hero. I wonder why. Just kidding, I know. It’s because music critics are all soys

No problem with people melting down and boycotting here. The market will play itself out. It didn’t work when they boycotted because of Colin Kirkpatrick and it won’t work this time either.

The thing is, I'm not boycotting the NFL. I just lost interest. And it really happened before the kneeling bullshite. Bountygate, the absolute deliberate fricking of the Saints in that NFCCG . . . And then the kneeling. frick Roger Goodell's NFL.

The NFL has to be doing this on purpose in order to generate controversy. For some reason they feel that bad publicity is better than no publicity at all.
I never heard of these people until yesterday.

You could be right about the unreleased stuff. It was unreleased for a reason. The rest of the statement is silly, though.

Yeah? Like who? Matter of fact, let's just reduce it to guitar and keys. Who can you name that can play just those two instruments as well as Prince could? Maybe EVH. Who else?

Of course he is. Trent Reznor is considered to be extremely talented just like Prince. Dave Grohl called him, "My generation's most talented Musician-Producer-Songwriter."

He released like a million albums of which a couple are notable then gave all his b sides to Morris day and the time who are largely forgotten by history then there’s still thousands more songs

Like literally every professional musician

Everyone in the Beatles except maybe ringo
We teach little kids how to play piano and people that get paid to make music don’t have to work for a living

For a modern example he’s on the level of a Jack white (cringe)

Literally nobody ever thinks about Trent reznor anymore ever since hot topic went out of business

Posting about boycotting.

It's like you actually stormed the beaches on DDay, innit?

Turning off the streaming smart TV for halftime shows up in the count of people connected. They can see the results of their stupidity right away.

Advertisers don't like seeing that result.
