Blah blah blah blah.

And there we have it. You cant understand the basics.

This has nothing to do with China. This is a verifiable fact that large, well-capitalized corporations can outlast mom-and-pop businesses.

How many people shop at local grocery stores?

I sure do.

If you dont, youre part of the problem.

Not all areas have local grocery stores

I hit the farmer's market on Saturday mornings but that's as much as just getting out of the house and doing some sight seeing as anything else

I don't know of any "local" grocery stores that aren't glorified convenient stores near me.

No YOU can't understand the reality. I know you think very highly of yourself. The proof is in the pudding and yours sucks.

Holy frick. After a page of you whining and crying, you agree with me. This is correct, but the tariffs present a much larger opportunity.

China is not selling their products to businesses here at cost+10%. They are selling those products to businesses here at whatever the market will bear. If the businesses here cease to exist, china cannot sell their products and chinas profit will go to zero. Therefore they will lower their wholesale prices to absorb the tariffs.

Spot on. It's basic econ. Good luck getting people to understand it though.

So what are saying caused the increase in prices that necessitated Target decreasing prices? You've been whining, bitching and griping about tariffs since before April.

Inflation.

I'll let you figure out the mechanisms. There are more than one.

Target can do this, small businesses cannot.

This is why Big Corporations will win.

You've stated many times that you support companies moving production overseas despite the costs to local communities, but now you want us to believe you care about the little people?

You're not fooling anyone. You just hate that Target lowering prices will reflect positively on Trump.

And what have you been screaming about for months that would cause inflation? That would be tariffs. Who put those tariffs in place that you've screamed about so? That would be Trump. So yes, you were blaming Trump for hurting small businesses. Seems you are a F-ing LIAR, but then we all knew that.
