Teachers celebrating an assassination is reasonable to you?
No. As I have said (perhaps a dozen times), it is tacky and inappropriate.

OTOH, it is reasonable to think that the OP was reacting like an emotional child.

My response would be exactly the same. Tacky and inappropriate. You people are just so very emotionally-weak.

Worthy of reprimand and suspension by the school?

You are a fascinating poster.

On some topics, you are perhaps the most-reasonable poster on this site. On other topics, you are an emotional child. It is amazing to watch.

Youve posted more in this thread than anyone, and you call others emotional..

Listen man. Any decent parent in that school would be out for blood and to keep their kids as far away from these retards as possible. . I know you dont understand it, but its what men do.

I would have no problem justifying a bit of counseling from the HR department or something similar. "Sarah, you must realize that our classrooms are not a platform for you to express your political views. Let's not do this again, OK?"

"Suspension?" Probably not, unless there is a history of similar behavior.

I would force them to go to a schoolboard meeting and defend their position in front of all the angry parents.

That would be traumatizing for them.

The left will attempt to kill more conservative influencers. Only a matter of time.

I appreciate that.

I can respect your response here, now be honest, do you think school would have a similar response to costumes such as the ones I described? Or would careers be ended? Because from the OP, nothing is gonna be done. Just a “sorry it made you some parents uncomfortable”.

fwiw It was just the first most fitting derogatory string of words I thought of to describe their stupidity. Simply calling them jackasses or something similar didn’t quite fit.

Your point is stupid.

"Its inappropriate but nothing needs to be done" is such a pussy response.

It would depend upon the school.

I estimate that probably 25% would respond as I outlined, while probably 75% would overreact as you have described.

So a costume portraying MLK, complete with shooting wounds or Medgar Evers with a shotgun sized hole in his back…that would be ok?
