You vote with emotions which is very bad for this country. Vote for results to get better results
I was told for 5 years that Donald Trump secretly took trips over to Russia because he was obsessed with attending orgies and he loved being pissed on by naked women
I was also told for 2 straight years that Donald Trump broke into a woman's dressing room in the middle of the day in a store at a mall and raped some random woman
What do ya do? 75% of all stories about everybody is made up bullshite. I am not saying that he did not do anything shady.. i am just sayin that If he makes a bad arse Senator that helps the Republican party (which he has done a tremendous job with in the past) then I don't give a flying frick what he did in the past. He didn't go to jail for anything. Sorry, but I vote for results and not hear say bullshite that happened years ago
Having said that.. I don't know much about the dude. I read all of the things that he was accused of doing which was indeed shady if true but he didn't get convicted of anything

No way I vote for Talarico. I voted for Hunt and will vote for Paxton in the runoff. If Cornyn is the nominee I will vote for him.

Dems will have the higher turnout. I'd also guess it's a higher percentage of their voters as there are more Reps in Texas than Dems.
1) We don't know however, how many Reps crossed over to vote for Crockett.
2) Whoever purchases Hunt's endorsement (Cornyn or Paxton) will win the Senate spot for Texas in the General election.
3) Was Hunt's majority the black voter? If yes the Hunt endorsement may not be of as much of a value as that voter demographic probably won't show for primary run off or general election. Need to know who were Hunt's voters? This may be a bogus factor as a black Republican is probably less influenced by skin color than a black Dem.
4) If Crockett throws a fit and shows sour grapes attitude, will as many that voted for her show up in the general?

Wesley Hunt’s endorsement will not have an impact. He was simply there to steal votes from Paxton. Voters who didn’t like Cornyn but didn’t like Paxton went to Hunt. Most will hold their nose and vote for Paxton. Very, very few will go for Cornyn. Cornyn is done and he knows it but he will bleed the GOP for as much money as he can on his way out.

Cornyn needs to drop out and endorse Paxton if the GOP wants to have a chance to keep the seat. I think it will be tough for the GOP to retain this seat based on the turnout. Better prepare to see a Dem Senator.

I think Talarico is going to win. Suburban women are going to eat up his twisted version of Christianity. They will view him as compassionate, understanding and loving. He has a great marketing message, all the positives of Christianity with zero responsibility. Do whatever makes you happy, Jesus loves you and he’ll forgive you.
Actual priests and Christian pastors better be ready to lead their flocks because this guy is going to be leading a lot of people down a road to destruction.

OK, so Hunt voters didn't like either Cornyn or Paxton. What happens if Hunt comes out tomorrow and says that he endorses Cornyn and wants his voters to get out in the run-off and go vote for Cornyn. Wouldn't those Hunt voters be just as likely to hold their nose and vote for Cornyn?
I guess you're saying the hatred for Cornyn overrides whatever Hunt says. That could be possible, I don't deny it. I would be interested in polling of Hunt voters. Do you actually know any polling information on Hunt, or are you just winging it? I also understand if you're winging it and going on gut instinct.

University of Houston polling gave Paxton a double digit lead over Cornyn in a hypothetical runoff.
I suspect Trump will throw his weight behind Paxton in the runoff.
