I knocked on the doors for the Santorum campaign around West Chester outside Philadelphia and there were a surprising number of women who were neither Mennonite or Amish but didn’t vote because it was the husband’s duty to vote for the family. Well, that was 2006 and Santorum lost, and Pennsylvania has been a toss up ever since. The republicans might wins every election if the people there didn’t shoot themselves in the foot with their weirdo rules

I live in PA and you are correct.

Something tells me they will have the highest percentage of registered voters voting than any other demographic in the U.S.

Not a weird rule. It's IG Americana. That was why women weren't able to vote from the start. The men voted for the family. Way it still should be.

100k or so new votes in PA for Trump
That alone will turn PA back red, Biden won the state with less than that I believe. Biden’s PA numbers are the high water mark, she isn’t getting more than Joe did. Lancaster county won’t put numbers up like that again for Dem’s and the Amish will solidify a Trump PA win.

We have a large Amish population here near Fort Leonard Wood, MO and they are supposedly voting as well in this election
What are they going to used for a photo ID?

These folks have much more common sense than many posters on this board.

The Minnonites are in Minnesota

I follow this guy on social media. He’s former Amish, and all of his family still is. He’s deeply connected in that community.
I choose to believe him.
The best part? The Amish community is almost never accounted for in polls because the majority of them don’t have phones, use Internet, or otherwise participate in polls. If the Amish are mobilized to vote this year, they will be the MVP of this entire election.

Seeing videos that the Amish are mobilized to vote now.
You mean the video I posted yesterday in this thread? We're talking Amish, et al, here right? Not Germans per se.

Ok but then every household that does that costs the Republican Party a vote. When we have swing states deciding national elections by a few thousand votes, that policy is principled but foolish imho
