If tweet fails to load, click here. Imagine if 535 members of Congress weren’t thieves.

While not completely wrong it’s the political system who debases the monetary system. I myself haven’t printed a note in awhile but maybe should consider, fed notes aren’t exactly the gold standard in value

What currency will overtake ours s the reserve?
BRICS has shown themselves to be irrelevant.

Is that we’re the case the US would have never been a superpower for more than a few years after WW2

Peter, who is to blame for this? Rich and powerful folks in the U.S.? Mostly on the left?

so does our ability to tax the world by creating more money.
Like that time US taxpayers funded the creation of a biological weapon and released it on humanity in order to justify printing $7-Trillion dollars in a single year devaluing every USD in existence.
Now the world has finally caught on to this scam and is big-mad because they paying for Covid on lay-away.

I want to know why this is an critical issue now and never one under Biden or previous administrations. Why has Congress let us get to this point?
Posted on 1/18/26 at 12:12 pm to Jugbow
You ask why, because anything is OMB. Having any deficit is bad, 38 trillion is mind boggling and accumulation the vast majority of it in last 25 years. Almost like the globalist started getting the party finally kicked off

I’ll have to admit my experience with them doesn’t give me much hope it’s possible though.

You’re missing the point. We are mismanaging this to the point where any alternative will be preferable.

Its hard to figure out something as generic as which country is "subsidized"more. You have to look at such broad things like trade, services, military protection etc.
What's very eay to see is that Trump is constantly going between "everything is so unfair for the us and we are constantly being used" and "we are so strong and powerful that everyone has to do what we say" and it seems like he's never actually thought about the fact that all of our trade and foreign assistance and support of NATO is one of the large reasons we are so powerful.
Its like he's saying even though the current status quo made us a world power like never seen before, we should also flip everything gon it's head and hope everything gets even better. Which is fricking stupid.
