If I were you, I wouldn’t let what that guy or anyone else thinks get under my skin. With the exception of the Travel Board which gives good advice, most of the others I read for entertainment purposes only. Never would I allow what faceless, anonymous posters on an internet message board have an effect on my life. Just take what they post with a grain of salt and move on.

It’s weird that this country has a government structure that supports economic growth and entrepreneurship and here you are so bitter and miserable.
I’m sure whatever state you live in is screwing you over 5x more in tax dollar spending/appropriations than the feds. Louisiana is great at managing tax revenues

I feel sorry for exactly none of them.
Shutdowns are a fact of life in their chosen career. If they cant plan ahead, save, take second job etc. knowing the job at the same rate is waiting for them..tough s h I t.

Hopefully shutdown continues til the dead weight is gone & some of the federal cesspools are cleaned out.
It would be a good start.

Most of us have savings, but we shouldn’t have to tap into it because some congressmen can’t get their shite together. How long should I be reasonably be expected to work with deferred pay?
