So, you sell Bitcoin to receive dollars, correct?

Replace Bitcoin with the US dollar and reread those first couple paragraphs

It's time for you to learn how to google. Im not gonna sit here and answer one noob question after another.

I disagree. It's a value to me. And you don't get to tell me what I value and what I don't value.

You can sell it for whatever you want to sell it for. Dollars, euros. Or you can buy something directly with it.
p.s. It's time for you to learn how to google, too.

This limited supply is a big part of why bitcoin will never be a viable currency and certainly won’t replace the USD.
it’s your fervor that attracts me as a trader and imo, bitcoin is nothing more than a trading vehicle which is why i own it.
We need more like you

It's time for YOU to learn about sarcasm. I know exactly what you receive when you sell Bitcoin. You receive a currency backed by full faith and credit of a federal government. In the USA, that's the almighty dollar. You Bitcoiners know that you need someone to buy your electronic investment for more than you did. That's how you make....money.
The difference is that 99% of the world doesn't give a frick about crypto. They do NOT use it in their daily lives.
The day that crypto replaces accepted currency, IF ever does, will be long after you're cold in the ground.
Till then, you're just buying pet rocks and hoping someone values it more than you do. Meanwhile, the rest of us use the dollar and live life.

Yeah. It's not a currency. It's something new. That's really the part that's messing people up. They don't grasp that they swallowed all their reasons to dismiss it while selling the same arguments as somehow different with the USD.
It's hard to get your head around it. Took me about nine months of study.
Shitcoins? Yeah. That's ponzi mostly. But won't be forever.
This whole thing is new and the future will be brighter because of it.

I don’t pretend to know what it is other than a trading “thing” with a large FOMO push to keep it going.
As for whether it’s a currency, it certainly had aspirations to be a currency but somewhere along the way, it’s been redefined by some people. I think there’s still a good number of people who want to own it as the future alternative currency to the USD, and possibly other currency replacements. It’s far too volatile to be a currency though. I am not smart enough to see how it can ever be a viable currency but the pricing volatility would have to settle down.
Doesn't really matter to me. I have fomo just like a lot of people and I want to own some of that while the fomo energy exists.

Google it. I'm not paid to be your puppet and answer all your noob questions. I answered a few of them but youre not paying me enough to just answer one after another when the answers are easily found online.

I've owned a crypto ETF for quite awhile purely for diversification and speculation.

My fave intrinsic value of bitcoin is that no one can stop me from sending any / receiving any to/from anyone I want.
I think some of your takes are pretty weak and defensive, but this is true.
I see crypto as equivalent to fiat currency with an artificial scarcity aspect intentionally built into it but lacking the real-world valuable credibility that comes with backing of a state.
It's got a narrower sociological tightrope for credibility than the dollar or other stable state currencies, but it does have increasing intrinsic value for these specific reasons you mention. I don't think that necessarily precludes it from collapse, of course.

It’s a fomo trade for you and most. Just admit it

I'm not gonna repeat myself. If you didn't read it the first time you obviously will not read it the second.
