Some of the most patriotic people I know were born elsewhere and have foreign accents. I served with them.

An old Army buddy of mine Allen West, is a former TX State GOP Chair. We served together in the 4/325th Airborne Battalion Combat Team (ABCT) in Vicenza, Italy back in the mid 80s. Good guy. We had some good times, especially in England
I never saw anyone around here, nor do I have any Texas family, that ever complained about Allen being in that seat.
And he's black.

Police arrived just as George was “attempting to leave” the residence with a “loaded and chambered” handgun in his car door, according to the incident report. Police said George was “breathing heavily” and “appeared upset” when they arrived.

His wife told officers that George did not verbally threaten anyone or use the handgun in a “threatening manner,” though police said that the couple’s statements were inarticulate and that they both “told us information that they later contradicted.”
