I don't consider myself a liberal, but I'll go ahead and disavow it since I think a lot of people on the right are being fricking hypocrites here. There were guys in C'Ville with MAGA hats and swastika armbands, and some people want to make it about the antifawhateverthefrick. It's mind-boggling. But yes, I'll disavow it for you. I think the people with the swastikas and the white pollo shirts are morons and sniveling victimized dipshits, but I would never in a million years say that they deserve to be maced, punched, or, oh i dunno, hit with a car.
Yesterday convinced me that identity politics really are the poison that's gonna kill this country. Citizens, voters and politicians should be talking brass tacks policy, not crying over statues and the latest victimization of the week.

I, formally in this thread, denounce senseless violence, political or otherwise. I also oppose using the power of government to punish somebody simply on the basis of their identity, though I reserve the right to condemn and rebuke somebody, like a Nazi, for that identify.
Let the record show that the OP is the only one that condones hate and identity politics, as he has steadfastly refuse to denounce either. In his own thread.

Not true. There are easily 20 online right now.
They categorically REFUSE to disavow both political violence and Identity Politics-and if they do they have multiple caveats that render the point moot. Yet they demand their political opposition do both (and we oblige). It's bordering on clinical at this point, this cognitive dissonance, this tiny little box they now inhabit.
They would not EXIST without Identity Politics. It is the single most pervasive organizing principle of their movement. And street violence is their method. As proof, I offer two people I personally now that have been shot by Progs in the last 14 months.
And yet it's extremely difficult to find a Conservative that supports either. And when Conservatives see the violent lunacy of these Nazi types, we immediately disavow them and mock the idiocy of their movement and talk about Free Speech and tolerance.
It's a telling fundamental difference between Left and Right.
