What a crock of shite. This is the same fricking bullshite we always get from the left. If she had not RESISTED arrest, she would be alive just like ALL of the shootings during the Floyd riot period.
It has been ruled a legal shoot MANY times before. If you point a car at an agent of the law and hit the gas, your life is forfeit.
This is standard procedure. Every time the liberals try to bring a case like this to court they lose.
I will admit that in a liberal state, the Ice agent is probably fricked. They will bring it to trial for to politicize it. Walz will be in the forefront to deflect from his little Somalian problem.

I’ll be honest. And I’ll get downvoted on here into oblivion, but I think the cop was not in enough danger to pull his gun out and shoot the lady.
I don't know about you, but I feel like a car about to run me over is quite a bit of danger.

I hate all of this BS but if officer Byrd is not guilty of murdering Ashli Babbitt this ICE agent damn sure ain't guilty of murder either.
My honest take is office Byrd was guilty of at least manslaughter, and there is some chance so is the ICE cop today.
I'm pro Trump and conservative and this will be an unpopular opinion here but cops just cannot become executioners at the slightest provocation.
Was officer Byrd in "imminent danger" and "facing a lethal threat" from Ashli Babbitt? Of course not.
Was the ICE cop today? Debatable, he was drawing and subsequently firing while evading the vehicle that was lurching forward while turning away from him and the other two shots through the drivers window will be hard to justify IMHO.
One would have to be obtuse to put the ICE officers actions today in the "100% good shoot" category.
The worst part in all of this is the overzealous use of lethal force just harms the mission to deport illegals.

He had already got out from in front of that car and then shot.
Was she dumb? Yup
Did she deserve punishment? Yes
Are the democrats to blame? Yes
But it’s hard to stomach how he shot her in that position.
I also think they are both at fault. She should have never tried to drive off and he was too quick to draw his gun considering he was far enough over to get out the way
Is it any surprise you have a Tulane logo avatar.

You are wrong you admit it by admitting he was in “danger”. Your words not mine. Per the rules of lethal force if he feared for his life or others he is justified. And just for your knowledge I was a certified Lethal Force Instructor and base Force Protection Officer in the military.

Pure idiocy

You are correct about Byrd but wrong with the car today. At no point did Ashley Babbit demonstrate any action which could be construed as threatening Byrd or anyone’s else life (ie she had no weapon). Today the weapon was a 2 ton vehicle and the LEO was in fear of his life/bodily harm.

The lady was an imbecile.
But
The cop could’ve easily gotten out of the way, and she could’ve been arrested later.

It’s great how much the Dems loved that but now hate it.
Despite situation 1 the person wasn’t a lethal threat and in this one she was since she did try to run over an agent

Then how exactly did the bullet enter through the front windshield?

So you say. Shooting someone through the bottom front corner of the windshield, and then subsequently 2 more times through the drivers window, indicates to me there might not have been an imminent threat of being "run over."
The cop will get exonerated, I have no doubt, but this is not a textbook case of justified lethal force in my opinion.
These poorly trained LEO's are trigger happy, whether that is justified or not is another discussion.
