Because it forces the rich people to move their money into treasury bonds which drives down interest rates which drives down inflation

Trump is trying like hell to get them to lower interest rates and crashing the stock market actually helps this.

roger thinks tariffs on US made products are good (exports). but if the US imposes those same tariffs on foreign made imports, that is evil.

I'm not sure if that is irony or retardation.

Amazing.

Completely shits the bed in the other thread to the point that people on YOUR SIDE ask you to save yourself.

Runs from it like a little bitch. Comes to this thread and still tries to act all knowledgeable and intellectually superior.

I'll say this. That's chutzpah!!!

it's actually a glorious time to be a day trader right now. you can short and make butt loads of money going down, long at the bottom, and make butt loads of money on the way back up. volatility is what day traders crave

Cornerstones of American conservationism.

Competition leads to innovation, higher productivity and lower prices. Tariffs are an inefficiency.

What’s your thoughts on countries like China importing raw materials and goods to export them right back to the US? Is that good for the consumer?

Sounds like theyre taking advantage of pricing in the USA being way too high.

Sounds smart.

Holy selective data sets Batman.

I will hand it to this doomcaster, he knows how to select data to manipulate simple-minded cut and pasters like yourself.

I suggest you go back and look at February and March 2020.

Competition does lead to innovation. I don’t think anyone has disputed that. 37t leads to bankruptcyism. If tariffs are so bad why does every other country have them? Why are other countries crying like an Alaskan government parasite over our tariffs? Do some research prior to hitting your bus bong and get back to us.
