All could have been avoided. I can’t believe anyone voted for this clown. Recession incoming by Q3.

Do you even have money in the market, or is this some theoretical exercise for you?

“Be fearful when others are greedy, and be greedy when others are fearful.”

-Warren Buffett

Wall Street media is going to pour on the fear porn, drive it down and then jump in for the big win.

Pelosi, eye-patch McCain and all the other Congressional expert traders are going to feast.

Yes.

I dont believe you do. If so, you would understand regardless if the market rises again, you still lost potential earnings and went backward.

It's a little early to panic. But, this growing narrative that we have to incur a recession to then accomplish whatever Trump is trying to do is some serious spin.

Yes. My portfolio is down but I subscribe to the buy and hold strategy. I buy, and I hold. I never sell. I lost a tremendous amount of money from 2008-2017. Still, I held. Then, after Trump took office, my portfolio skyrocketed. This is a temporary correction and a great buying opportunity for anyone with a longterm vision.

Edit: I should correct the above slightly, I never actually incurred a loss under Obama because I never sold assets, and because I continued with my regular buying strategy of accumulation of assets.

That may be the plan but it's certainly not what the rank and file believe

The question is how long we can hold out and what happens when the confidence in the diversions (bringing manufacturing back, fair trade, replacing the income tax) erodes?

Well we were already in a recession so might as well put policies in place to turn it around. Short term pain for long term gain.
