He won’t. If he was around in 1776, he would be reporting to the British about who was talking ill of the crown.

If only. He did say the noise from wind turbines could cause cancer. It was a throwaway comment in a long rambling speech that if given by a Democrat would’ve been marked “mostly true.”

He did call Trump an idiot for saying windmills cause cancer.

See how dishonest you are here? You are playing MSM games.

Here is Grassley's direct quote:

quote:

Sen. Chuck Grassley said in a conference call with reporters that the comments “were first of all idiotic and it doesn’t show much respect for Chuck Grassley as the grandfather of the wind energy tax credit.”

You calm Grassley called Trump idiotic.

Grassley said Trump's comments on windmills were idiotic.

I know you want to get Trump because you appear to support China and Trump doesn't but you'd have more credibility if you characterized Trump correctly when criticizing him.

Appear to support China? Understatement of the year.

This dude would toss China's salad if that was available.

He is also one of the main reasons we still have ethenol requirements for our gasoline supply. The corn lobby is basically an immovable object.

Who else would Trump endorse in Iowa? I don't like all of Grassley's spending but as far as when the rubber hits the road Grassley is a great senator and an almost guaranteed W in Iowa.

I have met Chuckwagon a few times and he is a genuine person who when he does something I disagree with I know he is doing it because he thinks it is the right thing to do.

First time we met was at his farm, when I rolled in he was out mowing his yard. There was a miscommunication at the time we were meeting so I got the sweaty farmer Chuck to meet with. He is good people.

The transmission lines from and to wind mills aren’t helping the cancer stats out and that’s a understatement . In addition the amount of birds population around drop off severely as well as flight patterns . Then there is that thing of operation during cold months or days of no wind at all . For the amount of money spent chasing wind energy , it is overwhelming bad vs Mother Nature’s blood of petroleum products
