I like Trump, I voted for him in 2016 and will again in 2020. But this adds fuel to the fire. He is the President of the USA and he needs to act like it.

I wish this wasn’t necessary, but it is. This is but a small effort to reverse the entirely false narrative.
The false narrative goes something like this: blacks are victims of white hatred and racism everywhere all the time and that explains all their problems.
I wish that it didn’t have to be the President of the United States who was doing the push back, but honestly, the price to be paid by anyone else is enormous.
I wish the Office of the President Of the United States wasn’t the focal point of the ENTIRE WORLD for the response to the bullshite that is happening right now and that he could just be a normal person with normal political skills doing normal presidential duties, but that’s not the world we live in right now.
Of all the responses he could make to counter the constant bullshite narrative, this seems pretty mild, honestly. Pointing out the hypocrisy is about the least thing that can be done.

If roles where reversed. If a beatnik white dude beat down a wimpy black dude it would be all over ABC, NBC, CNN, CBS, MSNBC. Don't you agree?
The President is pointing out the flat out hypocrisy of the left wing media. You don't like it, I get that. It is messy. But it must be done.
