What a loser...literally the biggest sore loser I have ever seen. Like getting blown out by 40 and blaming the officials for a bad call in the first quarter. He is such a baby and will be remembered as the worst president in US history.

I'm living proof that there is recovery, there is redemption, and there is life after addiction.... I'm still a pharmacist, business owner, and contributing member of society, with 2 beautiful kids, and of course, my beautiful wife,

So all of that is ok for you....... but only for you?

You can move forward in life and move on from your past.

But a statement Trump made years ago should damn him forever despite him also being a business owner and contributing member of society with no accusations of misconduct in years and having a family and children and a beautiful wife? He’s not entitled to redemption? Just you?

Can I go find statements you made while a young drug addict and assign their motive to you forever without looking at their context or your life since then? No? Then why can you do that to Trump?

it's not that, as much as it is the fact that he essentially stoked the fire that started the insurrection that BROKE INTO THE CAPITAL OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA... that's kind of a big issue, let's not act like it isn't

I tend to believe that we are ultimately reaponsible for our own actions. There is a lot of blame shifting in the US today and it’s shameful. The devil can only make your do what you want to do in the first place. That is.... unless you’re easily led.

That said, I think trump stoked the fires to bring about the riots on Wednesday. He was just vague enough to give them the green light to go beyond peaceful protesting. He also gave them reason with the constant insistence that the election was a fraud but in court, they provided no evidence.

What puzzles me is that people who supposedly consider themselves brave and strong minded can be so easily led down the primrose path. They will literally do what someone else says even it means breaking the law. That goes for both sides.

So Trump goes out on a sour note imo.

They provided plenty of evidence of bizarre behaviors and events surrounding this election. There’s plenty of statistical anomalies and questionable ballot procedures, etc... Regardless of which side of the isle you support we should all demand a thorough audit and examination of our election process and procedures. We should also all demand in person with ID voting unless there are extreme extenuating circumstances under which a person requests a ballot.

Also, people absolutely need to retain the right to peaceably assemble, speak, and protest the government. That right should be absolutely protected. Absolutely above almost anything else.

You cannot retroactively destroy that right for the many based on the actions of a few.

And you absolutely cannot say that any leader of organizer is liable for the actions of anyone who shows up to their events.

There are some very real and far reaching consequences to the narrative being pushed after Wednesday and too many people don’t see the bigger picture.

I don’t think his margins were affected very much by his performance.

The fact is his margins didn't need to be affected very much to swing the election.* The margin was ~43k votes total in GA, WI and AZ those three states going to Trump would have created a EV tie and a Trump win. Rightly or wrongly look how much historical significance has been given to the first Kennedy/Nixon debate. Though Biden was certainly not Kennedy in the dabte it is arguable Trump was even a greater mess than Nixon and that is saying something. While I think this was the oh shite moment for Trump and his campaign I think the true inflection point was months earlier when Biden was making huge media buys in the swing states when Trump's campaign was silent because at the time they were very low of funds. When you are taking multiple quick jabs to the face with zero response in that arena you are losing momentum. His 2016 campaign is a study in how to win in the current day his campaigning during the first 3 years of his presidency was a study in how to maintain his base momentum, the last year is a study in how to lose momentum and how not to respond to external pressure from a major story (COVID-19 in this case).

* the whole discussion of this is predicated on an accurate vote count

Chris is a giant attention whore. He acts like posting his wife's half dressed pics all over the internet isn't a big deal, while he simultaneously drools over other pics of half clothes women in other threads.

He does it to justify his creepiness. He always goes back and deletes the pics though. Why do that if it's not a big deal? He's a hypocrite but will not admit it.

I think one of the most fascinating moments of the capitol incident was watching a good number of folks stay between the velvet ropes after entering the building.

I’m not even sure what to make of it, but it’s quite the image to see folks scaling the walls and then staying between the lines.

The other one that got me was a live feed that had a person that got in the building yell “frick Carole baskin.” To be serious enough to go to DC and enter the building but indifferent enough to yell that is something.

I’m not even saying that as a right vs left, just likewise a generally societal curiousity
