We need to stop pinning these 2 against each other . The chance of them actually facing off is very slim .

I’ll vote for whoever the Republican is, hell I’d vote for my dog over the dumbass currently in office.

That being said, I think Trump being re-elected would be Trump 2.0, but he got shite done. I told my wife (no pics) that if Trump would learn to shut his mouth sometimes he would be better off. I do admire his No bullshite call’em like he sees’em way of looking at things.

DeSantis is more PC, but then he’s a politician.

I wouldn’t be surprised at a Trump/DeSantis ticket in ‘24 IF we make it that long!!

Trump is the only thing that can energize/mobilize the left.

It’s time to move on.

DeSantis is my governor. And I do not want to give him up. But our country needs him.

Leeches just like Democrats.

So says the generation that can get a mortgage at half the rate Boomers could.

So says the generation that throws money away on fancy phones and lattes.

Wtf you talking about bro cause ain't none of that true for me except the fancy phones snd lattes, but I can afford it. I can promise I have a bigger house and pay more taxes than 95% of this board.

But your response is typical of a Boomer. Instead of saying yea we have produced some pretty shitty politicians and yea we have fricked things up...you attack just like a liberal. Typical not know wtf you are talking about too thinking gen xers or xennials are some 25 year old wet behind the ears youngster. I'm 39 and every gen x is older than myself.

Bottom line is your gen has had power for 30 years and have done nothing but frick things up.

How about instead of doubling down....we give someone else a chance?

Oh and Boomer if you want to ever retire come see us on the money board in the crypto thread...we will walk you through it.

The guy known for firing people didn’t fire the Keebler Elf when he knowingly lied to the public.

Pointless straw poll, because either one would likely facepalm v. a Democratic superticket of two heavyweights, maybe Michelle/ Liz Cheney.

I care less than ever, but Ron

One reason I prefer Desantis is because he not only takes the right stances but he usually explains why and can get into the fray on those issues. Sometimes that's irrelevant, but it's probably not at the POTUS level. And if he's going to carry the banner for our ideology then I'd prefer he be able to discuss it in some level of detail and go several layers deep on why our way is the right way and the opposition way is fundamentally flawed.

Trump can't do that. But I do appreciate him going to bat for the ideas all the same, even if he generally made it about himself.

Not a boomer.

But my parents are and they are great people.

Who the frick do you want to give a chance to?

Every politician in D.C. is fricking worthless.

I don't need a lesson on crypto.

Are you one of those retards that thinks boomers should retire just to open up a spot for a younger person?

If you knew anything about business you would know the younger person would make far less than the boomer who retired to just to appease a young person.

I liked Trump's policies in term 1 and he has a proven record in DC.

I'd like one more Trump term.

So are mine. Doesn't mean their generation in general hasn't fricked up the country and produced horrible politicians and terrible policy. Doesn't mean their gen isn't selfish as frick with the debt. Doesn't change the fact they will be the first generation in American history to leave the next a worse quality of life.

I agree with a few exceptions. I would like Rand Paul or Thomas Massie if possible...if not then DeSantis. I like Trump and will vote if I have to for him but I would prefer to stop electing old fricks that are out of touch.

frick no. I don't need anyone to retire to make my way or move up. I don't get the whole Boomers are in my way and won't retire crap....makes no sense to me.

What in the frick are you talking about?

How in the frick do you know what I know about business? Because you couldn't be more wrong about my knowledge but when the hell did I bring that up at all?

You bounce around and change the subject like crazy and you don't make any points at all.

Seriously your rebuttal is....my parents are Boomers and good people and all politicians suck? That's your rebuttal?

The Greatest Generation also gave us Viet Nam. It was real fun being high school knowing that your arse was about to be drafted at 18 and sent to fight there. LBJ fricked up this country for years. After the war, there was inflation, high unemployment and high interest rates. When I graduated in 1978 and started working in 1979, inflation was 13% and unemployment was about 8% and interest rates were about 20%. The Baby Boomer Presidents have been terrible, but the Boomer Generation is not a bad generation.
