He is win/win on his comments. He has put the current administration, tDNC & Hillary in check. The only move for them is to lose.

He is brutally 5 moves ahead.

Trump should pardon her. Make a big deal about it. Hold a PC announcing it. Let her be branded like DiCaprio in Gangs of New York.

If Trump wants her prosecuted, the best thing for him to say right now is that he won't pursue it.

Trump needs to get the DOJ straightened out, let the FBI know he's got their back if they happened to find any evidence of criminality with Clinton Inc.

The main thing Trump needs to do now is focus on filling positions and get ready to MAGA. If the FBI comes back in a few months with more evidence against HRC I don't think Trump will save her.

Make no mistake, the main reason Trump is POTUS was to deny a criminal (HRC) the highest office in the country and that is worth almost any BS Trump might pull as POTUS.

Not a troll at all. He clearly, repeatedly said he'd appoint a special prosecutor and then backed off those statements today. You tell me how what he said today squares with the special prosecutor talk.
I don't think he needs to appoint a special prosecutor and don't think he ever intended to. At no point in time did I care that he said it and don't care if he doesn't follow through.

I didn't want her to win. She didn't win. That is what I care about.

Every president says things and doesn't follow through. He'll do it countless times just like all of them. This Hillary shite is, or should be, a non story and no big deal at all.

Oh, I don't think he'll cover for her if something is found. I just don't think he's going to make finding something a priority.

If Trump thinks that the leftist will let up or that this will pacify them he is sorely mistaken. He needs to kick them while their down and go for the kill.

I wouldn't have thought this Clinton criminal behavior has been handled at all.

It still lies within the art of the deal for Trump to float his opinion.

While I believe Clinton deserves to be prosecuted, there is a 0.0001% chance she actually will be. She has far too much political power to ever be arrested for anything.

Don't you think there is a possibility that he said this so that Obama will not pardon her and then the hammer falls by the FBI once Obama is gone and Trump pulls the trigger?

No he didn't.

The DOJ will do its job.

If he wants to change his mind all he has to do is say "I learned new info I was not privy to before I was inaugurated."

If this bullshite podesta and crew is trying to pull starts getting play maybe he will realize the scum he is dealing with.

Not sure if you watched FoxB this morning but across the board they think Trump made a mistake on this. Big time. Of course the usual mass media hacks are weighing in on Trump with a bit different spin. Not a mistake... nothing was there, etc... etc...

I agree. There was no need whatsoever to weigh in on this at all. No upside as far as anyone can tell. Even if he has plans to go after her at some point or encourage the DOJ, FBI, etc... in private.

Totally unnecessary. He is the one that kept talking about investigating Clinton. He is his own person and there are hundreds of clips of him saying she would be investigated and might go to jail. He can't walk this back. He could let it die in due course and blame it on other things, people, etc...

Z E R O reason to walk this back in a statement at this time. Z E R O. This kind of shite pisses me off.

How about allowing this whole Trump presidency thing to play out before saying he has backed out on his promises? He hasn't even taken the oath of office yet. This is ridiculous.

Quit eating the spoon-fed excrement that the media is feeding you.

He spoke for the working middle class Americans who have wanted to give her a piece of their minds for decades.

She ducks and dodges any serious interviews and there have been no republicans with the nads to aggressively tell her off in debate.

What the average working middle class America wanted was to tell her off and he did it for them helping release frustration and say "Finally!"
