Trump wasn’t looking at the screen.
Also I believe the water tower wouldn’t be able to get a direct shot on Trump due to the stands and the big monitor.

If a shot came from the water tower, then Trump turning his head would have exposed his whole temple. The fact that it nicked an ear speaks to the shot coming from directly to the side (via the roof). Also, a trained professional would have killed him. I am not buying this water tower business.

Not sure if this is roof access (arrow) but it’s def a window. It appears to give direct sight to the shooters location and possibly a visual of the stage. It sits slightly higher than the roof the shooter was on.

If a shooter was on the water tower it would have taken him several minutes to climb back down after making his shot(s).
It would be too much of a risk of being captured by a LEO after climbing back down.

Absolutely, SS should've been all over their arse about why nobody was on the roof.
I want every local PD officer inside and outside that building thoroughly investigated, every text or phone call they've made for months. Someone or a group of people had a hand in making sure this kid had a window.
Even after all of these lapses, all someone had to do was relay to SS that there was a suspicious person hanging around and Trump shouldn't have been allowed on stage until that person was confronted. If they did relay that to the SS, then that's another problem.
