I hate seeing that news. Detroit is a cornerstone of American manufacturing.
Scaring gullible and old people into thinking Detroit will have zero auto manufacturing is disingenuous at best and honestly complete bullshite.

Because it was the original hub of US auto manufacturing and exploded for decades after auto manufacturing plants in europe and japan were wiped out during WWII. After becoming complacent with their success Detroit got passed up by smaller, more fuel efficient cars in the 70's and 80's from same plus Korea, and it takes awhile to turn a barge around. Lots more variables in there that you wouldn't understand but sure, let's hear your take. Some setbacks for sure but I believe Detroit is on the mend and while you seem to disagree, I always root for American success.
