I largely support the attack last night and bringing Maduro to justice. I do not agree and am not thrilled to hear about us being back into nation building.
What's the time frame Trump? 1 year? 5 years? 20 years? We don't want to be in the nation building business.
I voted for Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024. I don't like this decision. The only way it ends well is if the U.S. military destroys all military capabilities of the Maduro regime, which then allows the legitimate winner of the Venezuela elections to take power.
Agree with what you've said here. I hate the transition thing.
Perhaps the difference is that we are not going to be dealing with religious zealots and squabbling tribes.
Also I think once you cut the head off this snake - Maduro and perhaps his top 10-15 men - I don't think the Maduro machine is a threat anymore.

You forgot to mention those leases were terminated after US oil companies invested $5 Billion in building the Venezuelan oil infrastructure.
Do you honestly not think oil companies already made that money back? At the end of the day, that’s risk of doing business.
Russia now controls a lot of former American infrastructure in Russia, China has a lot of control over American businesses operating in China. Should we go regime change them?
If you actually think this is about Venezuela terminating leases decades ago then you are ‘tarded.

I would love to hear what former American infrastructure there is in Russia.

The world operates on prison rules. You’re either someone’s bitch or from time to time you have to shank someone to assert dominance to avoid becoming a bitch.
For the record I’ve never been to prison but I hear that’s how it goes.

Now, I definitely get "middle-east" vibes about this situation because if we're going to have a presence there after our continuing interventionism...
is this part of the plan, to put us on Colombia's doorsteps and eventually "liberate" them too?
Sure looks that way, doesn't it? Trump did just threaten Colombia's President, saying, he should "watch his a-s-s".
The way I see it: Remember the "RESET"? It appears that declaration by WEF-Davos also apparently means a big change in international politics, policies -- and green lights opportunistic Conquistador-style imperialism.
-- Isreal has busted their "River to the Sea" move, expanding into Gaza and Syria with designs on Iran and Irag (aided by their "great ally", the USA.)
-- As you alluded to, Columbia is already threatened by the US (Trump); And recall when he had riffed about annexing Greenland and Canada? (whether jokingly or HALF-jokingly; and now his people have Invaded Venezuela and kidnapped its leader. Who know what excuses they'll make for other interventionist MIC actions.
-- China is busy setting up boxing in Taiwan and setting up shop in Africa and S. America.
-- Russia has been more or less neutralized from focusing elsewhere by the Isr-US-EU proxy war.

I certainly have questions. I'm not taking a hardline stance one way or another on this, but just trying to look ahead.
It appears the globalists have shown their hand. ALL the pieces of ALL the systems (i.e. borders, sovereignty, laws, currency, ecumenism) are about to be "re-calibrated" by the so-called "One World Gummint" (UN Agenda 20230.) And don't forget -- "they" are also setting up the "Alien Invasion" op deception.
Keep you eyes open, brutha -- 2026 is going to be a very busy year.

It's official now, isn't it? No more respecting national sovereignty (even by one's own "leaders".)

Generals gathered in their masses
Just like witches at black masses
Evil minds that plot destruction
Sorcerer of death's construction
In the fields, the bodies burning
As the war machine keeps turning
Death and hatred to mankind
Poisoning their brainwashed minds
Oh, Lord, yeah

The entire place went full circle in record time.
Just last year the overwhelming sentiment went from no foreign aid for anyone and declaring we are not the world police to cheering the Monroe Doctrine and propping the Argentinian banking system.
Agreed. I am amazed as well. It's now proven mass hypnosis and magic spells are real. Both sides of the spectrum are susceptible.

I hate to be that guy but that’s half circle, not full circle.

Or principles.
Populism's and idol-worship's affects are intoxication with power by proxy and rationalization of hypocrisy. Clear critical thinking becomes blocked and all that matters is "our team is kicking arse!" (nevermind that THAT "team" is Team Global.)

I just quoted the poster's main gist and sentiments -- which I concurred with -- be it 1/2, 3/4, or full circle
